Nice lunch option - Edit
They offer a few plant-based options. I ordered the soup of the day (pumpkin) with gnocchi fritti and a plate of fries. The gnocchi fritti was somewhat too fatty for my taste, the soup was fine and the fries were nice.

The restaurant was easily accessible by snowboard / skis.
I was allowed to leave a little souvenir by putting the Dutch word for “welcome” on the board; the personnel was very nice. It was clear that the people working there enjoyed their work.
The price was very reasonable.
Next time I will try the vegan pizza (no plant-based cheese tho).

Thanks to the review on Happy Cow we found this nice place. It's on a slope that you wouldn't take if you didn't park your car at the Ardent parking area. But it's worth taking the detour!
Read moreThe restaurant has a nice vibe and is run by some lovely Italian people. Because it's not in the middle of the ski-area it's not as busy as some of the other restaurants. The staff is very friendly (and cute 😁). They have 3 vegan options: soup of the day with is served with fried pizza-dough, a pasta with tomato sauce and a pizza with vegetables. If you want the pizza, make sure to specify that you want the vegan version, because they also can serve it with cheese. We had the soup and the pizza and they were both very delicious!
When we paid, the girl told us that they can make more vegan dishes, so if you feel adventurous just ask!
Prices are the same as in the rest of the area: on the pricey side but definitely worth it. (and if you think about how they must get all the ingredients up the mountain, it's not that crazy)

Several vegan options are clearly listed on the menu and various dishes may be altered slightly to be vegan. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are also labeled.
Read moreI ordered pasta with mushrooms (not on the menu, but given as a possibility), which was very nice. Portions are also very generous. My father had the soup of the day, pumpkin, which he really liked. Our family shared the gnocchi fritti that comes with the soup, it's really nice to snack on!

Hahaha, nee, het ging niet om de sneeuw! Wij zijn nu ook in dat gebied (ons appartement is in Châtel) en we komen er niet helemaal uit via google maps hoe we hier naartoe kunnen skiën. Maar dat gaat vast lukken ergens deze week! Thnx voor je recensies, fijn dat een mede vegan ons al voor is geweest!

Le Chaudron zit op een steenworp afstand, dat is in de straat rechts, die in een bocht loopt en dan weer terug komt op de piste. Ik ben daar dit jaar niet geweest (en ook niet bij Cookie Café), dus weet niet hoe het aanbod daar dit jaar is!
