Delicious Ramen! - Edit
Great little restaurant with sit down eating. We had the No. 5 ramen and the miso avocado sushi. We ordered mild spicy because it was our first time eating there and wanted to gauge what their version of spicy was. That being said, everything was absolutely delicious and we could definitely have ordered spicier. Ready great flavor, a must try!

Beware if you have allergies - Edit
My friend is allergic to gluten. Three times she stated this to the person who took our order and requested gluten free noodles ( me and our other friend were there and heard it too). They served her regular noodles and she got super ill. Be careful if you have allergies. They did apologize and make her a new meal. The food was excellent tasting, but it was a scary experience for my friend.

Tasty ramen - Edit
We ordered the spicy red miso ramen and the spicy roasted miso avocado roll. The ramen was pretty good, and actually had some spice. The roll was not spicy at all and I wonder if they gave us the wrong thing, but the crispy onions on top were delicious. For a dollar or so you can get the “special” version with smoke. I’m not sure if it adds flavor, since we haven’t tried it without it, but it was fun. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Boston, but keep in mind it gets very busy at peak mealtimes.

Really disappointed - Edit
I didn't like the yuzu ramen. The noodles were OK, but the broth tasted off-putting. I also tried their sushi because it seemed interesting but I didn't even finish it because I didn't like the crispy onion pieces that completely covered it.

Ramen For Real!! - Edit
Get the signature for BIG smoke flavor and reveal. Took my omnivore family and kids. Kids love ramen and omnivores love this place too. Beautiful location on Newbury St. busy place, but tables do change over pretty quickly!

Always wonderful - Edit
I’ve been to Red White a couple times and have never had a bad dish, love their food! I tried the sushi rolls and mac and cheese for the first time a couple weeks ago and thought the flavor was so powerful, would definitely get again. I don’t know if they’ll bring it back, but have also heard good things about the ramen with the dragon broth. Really can’t go wrong with a dish here.

Delicious ramen and flavorful sushi! Loved the infusion of the smoke into the ramen as well. It gave it a nice depth of flavor.

tasty but i wish it were better labeled!! - Edit
I had the miso ramen and my friend had sushi and we were both VERy impressed with the food. Huge portions, really great quality. My one complaint is we passed over the mac and cheese because we assumed it wasn't vegan. The miso ramen clearly labeled itself as having 'tofu meat' and nothing else in it would be anything but vegan - but we both thought their cheese was real cheese since it didn't have any kind of label about not being dairy based. So... would have loved to have tried the mac and cheese but didn't know to, and unfortunately I'm leaving town now!

Cons: does not label itself/food items vegan, small restaurant without much space

4/5 but would go back to try for that extra star - Edit
Finally made it to Redwhite after months of it being the first place I see whenever I open HappyCow. I see why it has the reputation it does - simple, quick, and vegan!
Read moreDespite being a 100% vegan shop, the menu items aren’t labeled as such. If you didn’t know, you might pass over it.
Counter service makes it easy to split checks when you’re out with friends. Small, intimate dining area allows you to enjoy on site or you can take it to go.
I got the ginger curry ramen, it was good but not great - felt like there was more opportunity for flavor. Will need to return and try some of the other options.
Grabbed some Mac n Cheese and Mac n Truffle on the way out because I’m a sucker for a good vegan mac. You might not expect a ramen place to excel here but don’t skip the truffle mac!! Still thinking about it.
Pros: So many options!, Quick and easy
Cons: Menu items aren’t labeled

I had one day in Boston and I knew I had to make it here. We waited approx 30 minutes for a table to free up but it was worth the wait! The food was hot and fresh, we loved the straightforward menu and most importantly, everything was delicious.

Great ramen and sushi rolls - Edit
The ramen was incredible, flavorful, and a very large portion. The sushi roll we had was also amazing, probably the best vegan sushi roll I’ve ever had. Would go again if they had a more convenient location to drive to.
