So I LOVED the food. The pancakes were probably the best I have ever had. The smoothie was great, didn’t taste artificial and unnecessarily sugary. The staff was so friendly and you could tell many customers were regulars.
Read moreHowever there were two things I didn’t love. I got a $2.50 surcharge on my smoothie to make it large, when I didn’t ask for a large. Additionally, the pictures from Happy Cow led me to believe I’d be getting a decent amount of fruit with my pancakes. Sadly, I only got few strawberries and raspberries. Like 8 total pieces.
I don’t think these negatives outweigh how good the food is here but it’s just something to note.

Read moreI went on a Saturday afternoon. I was greeted very warmly, and said I wanted to order food to go. I ordered the nachos, buffalo tenders and oyster mushrooms, and was told it would take 15-20 minutes.
The food was great! Good portion sizes, and reasonably priced. Everything was perfectly seasoned & full of flavor. They use eco friendly packaging, and even wrote a note on my to-go bag!
I am 90 minutes away, but would definitely return to try more selections!

No photos because I gobbled up the food so fast. A small place with big flavors and wonderful customer service. Absolutely delicious. Do not miss the corn, the cucú sandwich and the oyster mushrooms! The group next to us got a salad that looked incredible. Can’t wait to come back a try more of their food.

A new Jersey favorite!! - Edit
Red's Leaf Cafe has become a new favorite spot this summer! I am happy to go out of my way to visit this VEGAN establishment- it is well worth it. The prices are very reasonable, the menu items are well portioned and filling, and the service is always wonderful. Most importantly, the food is absolutely scrumptious. My favorites so far are the Soy Sticks (my absolute favorite vegan drumsticks I've tried ANYWHERE) and the Nacho platter which is bursting with gooey flavor. I've enjoyed everything else so far as well look forward to trying many more of the creations coming from this kitchen. It's a cute spot with some outdoor tables and plenty of nearby parking, so there's no reason not to check them out!

We got the fried oyster mushrooms, soy sticks, red's burger, and the dessert of the day (strawberry cake with lemon cream). The fried oyster mushrooms were decent, but not my favorite. The soy sticks had a good flavor, but the texture was a little too mushy. The burger and fries were good, and the dessert was my favorite. However, it was a little pricey for the food we got.

This was our 2nd time coming to Red’s Leaf Cafe and each time has been outstanding! The food is great and the owner is super friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast the first time, vegan scramble and pancakes and today we went for the Tofu Panini and the Kuku sandwiches. We also had the homemade soup and crispy potatoes. Everything was fantastic and fresh! We will continue to return over and over. So glad we live close by!

What a find! If you are anywhere near Red’s Leaf Cafe definitely go! The food was delicious, the owner is just wonderful and it’s an adorable place. We went twice - dinner and then breakfast the next day. It’s BYOB but there is a lovely mocktail menu too.

First of all. The owner is amazing. She’s an animal advocate and that means a lot in the world of vegan culinary. She’s also simply a pleasant and kind human who is excited for her amazing food and to have you there. But that aside, the food is amazing! The presentation is beautiful. The seasoning is perfect. The portions are perfect. And everything is just delicious. Absolutely cute spot too. Definitely stop by here and try just about anything cause it’s all good. I’ve tried alot of vegan food across the country and this is in the top 10.

Had an avocado toast breakfast and got to taste some tofu scramble. Both very good. I like the morning hours. The place was quaint with calming music and cricket sounds. Met the very pleasant owner. The place is named after her best friend Red who she recently lost ( oh I know that feeling!!!). Well worth a visit!!

Today I stopped in to this gem of a restaurant. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pics! I met the owner Natalie. She was such a sweetheart! We chatted the whole time while my food was being prepared and had such a great conversation! I got the red quinoa salad and the the zucchini brownie and they were both fantastic and wholesome☺️.
