The service is really excellent and they do some fancy cocktails too.

The staff deserve a medal for patience as I called them several times to book. There aren't many tables and as there was a function we had the choice of eating at the bar stools or outside. We are used to Melbourne so we ate at the tables outside. The pizzas were delicious - crispy thin crust with just the right amount of topping. One pizza is definitely sufficient even if you are quite hungry. The vegan cheese was melty and tasty enough to please even non-vegetarians. Aside from tasty twists on typical pizzas, there were non-tomato based options (mushroom was very good). Sides of salad (Greek with almond feta is highly recommended) and/or chips were also very tasty with staff happy to accommodate requests to avoid or substitute dressings. Make sure you leave room for desert... to share as the serves are quite generous. Tea is real tea from leaves (not bags) which is ideal for a Melbourne autumn evening. Happy to go back.

I live 50 minutes drive from Red Sparrow yet have been here over 10 times... it is that good. Definitely make a booking - it doesn't matter what night it is, they'll be busy. The Buffalo Tofu is my absolute favourite, closely followed by Pepperoni (I've tried them all bar the Mushroom). The deep fried Mars Bar is heavenly... top it all off with a Lemon Capi and you've got the best meal you could ask for. I've been to Gigi's... Melbourne's Red Sparrow wins by a landslide. There's not much more to say! Book a table and gooooo!

Order 2 pizzas on my first night in Melbourne on uber eats and it was a great experience. I got the one with potatoes on it and added zucchini and broccoli, and it was one of the best vegan pizzas I've had, we also got the mushroom one which I wasn't the hugest fan of it was still pretty good 😋

This is one of the best pizza places I've ever eaten at and I've eaten vegan pizza in Italy and NYC so I know what I'm talking about. The Italian style bases are flavourful and cooked just right and I loved their fun topping combos as well as the classics. The pear and walnut topped pizza was probably my favourite but the Hawaiian was also excellent. If you have space you need to try Shelley's desserts too especially if her PB Chocolate pie is on the menu, it's fantastic. Oh and make a reservation - this place gets busy!

Wasn't sure what we felt like after a few beers in the local area and Happy Cow App pointed us in the direction of this place. We are sure glad we decided that Pizza was a good option to finish off the evening. A friendly and energetic waitress met us and was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the specials - we went with the special pizza, salad and beer! Generous servings and perfectly proportioned pizzas - we are not huge fans of over the top mock meats and cheeses and this place doesn't overload these toppings. The base was awesome and crispy and flavoursome as well. I really didn't realise that this place was all vegan until I saw a small footnote on the menu - highly recommend and hope to visit again on our next Melbs adventure!

Read moreWe've been here three times already and it has always been amazing. Some of the pizzas we've had are: pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, white pizza with potato and leek and a special, which was BBQ chicken with stuffed crust. They were all AMAZING, especially the BBQ chicken with stuffed crust and the white pizza with potato and leek. The pizza dough is the BEST pizza dough I've had in my life!
The fries are also really good, they come with a nice seasoning.
They have some awesome desserts. We've tried the dessert pizza with chocolate spread and a special - wizard pie. The wizard pie has an Oreo cookie crust, a caramel toffee filling and is topped with chocolate ganache, and comes with vanilla ice-cream.
They also sell soft drink from small/alternative companies, which is cool.
Book ahead because they are extremely busy, so you won't necessarily get a table (especially inside) if you just rock up.
We look forward to going back to this place again and again!
