Good falafel and hummus

I had the falafel with hummus. Good portion size, great hummus. It’s a two minute walk from Petra’s visitor center so it’s a perfect stop after a day of walking around the site.

Consigliato!

Qui abbiamo mangiato i migliori sambousek e felafel di Wadi Musa. Porzioni ok e prezzo contenutissimo.
Staff gentile e accogliente, locale molto carino!

Best place in Wadi Rum

This is my first review and first time using this app. After a visit to a very average place yesterday we came across Red Cave in this app and gave it a try.

Oh my word! Everything was delicious. The flavours were just right and portion sizes generous.

Staff attentive with just the right amount of help.

If we weren’t leaving tomorrow we would be back for sure. We might even order the same again.

Pros: Flavour , Friendliness, Choice

Cons: Nothing.

Good vegan hummus

For vegans you can only get hummus and salads, the eggplant moutabal has yogurt in it. The manager was not very welcoming and quite rude to the employee who was answering us about the vegan options, because he stopped cleaning the windows to help us, it was like 11am so not busy. We only got hummus and bread take away which were very good.

Great taste, cozy ambiance

I ate here with a friend who wanted something more "local". They have a room that evokes a bedouin house, so it might give a tourist an idea of what a meal at a local's house feels like. Of course, it's for shows, but I considered the vegan options pretty authentic. I had the vegetarian gallyah and babaganoush, much better service than the rest of town as well.

Pros: Cozy ambiance, Good food, Great service

Cons: Few vegan options for Bedouin cuisine

Great food, lots of options, kind staff/owner

We stopped by this place on a whim because it was on our way back to our hotel and was listed on Happy Cow, though there were no reviews. I'm really glad I chose this place! The veggie sambusak were crisp, hot, and well-spiced. The muhammara was one of the most flavorful I've had, with a slightly acidic, olivey quality. The pita was fresh and the tea was hot and good. I don't remember what my friend had, but they enjoyed theirs too. We had experienced some pretty boring, bland food in both Egypt and Jordan, and it was a pleasant surprise to find everything here to be so flavorful and fresh! We asked for a takeout container for the muhammara.
.
The next day, we decided to stop by for takeout on our way back from Petra, and the other remembered us. He invited us to sit down for a complimentary cup of tea, and surprised us with some muhammara and pita added to our orders! He was so kind and friendly.
.
I definitely recommend this place among the sea of little places close to Petra. The food was great and the experience was very memorable!

Pros: Vegan options, Flavorful choices, Great service

Cons: Would love a few more vegan entree options
