Solid meal - Edit
We had grilled salad and jambalaya. Both tasty. No beer taster available, but draft special was good. Wine was reasonable price but pour seemed small?

Solid but don’t feel it was a restaurant I need to visit again! ( hence 4*)

Fantastic burger - Edit
Their Aina (land) burger is vegan (tell your server you want it vegan). Their house made ketchup, mustard, and hot sauce is vegan and labeled as such and really different in a good way. Staff is so friendly. Great for meat eaters as well. This was our second time here over 3 years and will definitely return!

Decent - Edit
Got the coconut curry with vegetables. It had a base level of flavor but lacked seasoning..so not great especially for the price of 21$ for 1 entree.

Wow Wow Wow - Edit
I’ve had the best vegan meal, while living in Kona, at Rebel. I do my best to support vegan restaurants but damn this place is hard to resist.
Read moreThey offer a vegan salad, vegan burger, pasta, and coconut curry. We ordered the pasta and coconut curry and they were both excellent. The coconut curry is outstanding. I mean, excellent.
The French fries were great too, especially with their homemade ketchup, mustard and hot sauce.

GO HERE ASAP - Edit
I adore Rebel Kitchen. They don’t have many vegan options (only three that I’m aware of), but their veggie burger is the best veggie burger I’ve ever had. It’s topped with lettuce, tomato, and onion but the patty tastes so good I could eat it on its own. It also came with amazing fries! My favorite part of Rebel Kitchen is that they make their own ketchup, mustard, and hot sauce. The mustard is reminiscent of a honey mustard but it’s vegan! If you’re tired of the restaurants in Kona, Rebel Kitchen is the one for you.

Yum! - Edit
Cute place along the main road with a bit of a hippy vibe. Friendly server who was able to explain the vegan options on the menu. We had the Da Aina veggie burger, and added pickles and sliced avocado per the suggestion of the previous reviewer. The burger was tasty, with a very soft lentil patty. Also had beet kombucha on tap. Nice filling meal!

Lack of choice - Edit
There were maybe two vegan options although the menu overall is somewhat limited. I opted for the burger... the burger itself was nothing special but the fries were excellent. The burger is some kind of vegetable/lentil mashed mix and just needed some sauce or pickles to give it a boost.

Pros: Tasty fries , Excellent choice of music playing
