Delectable rabbit food!

First time here and it was absolutely tasty. So many choices to choose from from and not your typical bar food which was really nice. Definitely coming back!

Twitterpated !

I took myself here on a spontaneous solo brunch date and had a delightful time. All the options looked fantastic and I couldn’t decide ! I ended up getting the Fried Soy Chicken Bfast Burger with kale side salad at the recommendation of the waitstaff, and I’m glad I did ! I’ll definitely be returning to try all the other items. I also had a cup of rose tea which was perfect for a rainy day.

UPDATE: Went back recently with a friend and love love loved the Benedict and Hash. Rose tea was still a favorite too.

Incredi-bowl was exceptional

First time here and I was very impressed with the flavour of this hotel. I like how the savory soy curls were slightly charred and it added a very pleasant taste and texture.
The marinated curls in the peanut sauce then charred added the extra level of flavor for me.
All their bowls are gluten free and all of their waffles as well. I think I will have to return to try those a week.
I will return. Portland has so many great vegan eateries. Fortunately, I am here for a while month.
The 11$ was very reasonable for what came in the bowl.
Highly recommend a so here.

Pros: Very tasty

Favorite brunch spot

This place is fantastic! I was so excited to find an all vegan all day brunch place, it’s my favorite meal to eat out. I have been here several times and the food is consistently great with quick and friendly service. Everything I have tried has been good, but my favorite is the biscuits and gravy plate - highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed! It is a little spendy, but on par with what you pay pretty much everywhere eating out. The portions are good size and I usually get 2 meals out of it

Vegan 🌱 PDX Times

Next door to Mis Tacones to my surprise when I impromptu headed for breakfast planning also to go later to Mis Tacones (not to be missed!!). My americano though very small was very tasty and cookie large and pretty darn good. The bowl was very bland, tasty looking sauce had no flavor IMO. I’d go again but wouldn’t order that dish.

Pros: Tasty options , Decent prices for these days , Nice space, friendly staff

Cons: Bland main dish, sauce had no flavor

Breakfast Excellence

I could ask any chore of my husband, and he would agree if I promised him a Rabbit breakfast. I love their juice options, but the food really shines here. Chick’n and waffles? Tofu scramble with mushroom herb gravy? Yes, yes and more. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Friendly staff. Go ahead, treat yourself!

Pros: Breakfast goodness , Friendly staff, Seating options

Too expensive

I don’t think you get enough for what you pay for, even if the food is good. Everything on the menu should come with sides, not al la cart (by itself). $12 pancakes... yikes!

Pros: Great menu with options, Taste great

Delicious waffles!

Rabbit Cafe was fantastic! We went for breakfast while in Portland since some of the other vegan breakfast spots didn’t open until later. It was a great find with some yummy options.

My colleague ordered the chicken and waffles while I got the deluxe waffle (with raspberry sauce and fried banana, which was shockingly delicious). I also ordered a sausage patty on the side and we each had a coffee.

The waffles were huge and well worth it. The chicken was amazing - it definitely ranks as the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. The sausage patty wasn’t huge for the $4 price tag, but was tasty. Coffees came with free refills, though the only milk option offered was oat milk (not complaining, but mentioning in case anyone prefers a different type). Unfortunately French toast was out of stock on the morning we visited.

There was also several covered outdoor tables that would be great for sunny and warm mornings.

Overall I had a great experience - good atmosphere and absolutely delicious food. I’d definitely suggest dining here for a good vegan breakfast!

Pros: Good breakfast, Coffee refills, Outdoor dining

Cons: Some items out of stock

Best chicken and waffles ever

They were absolutely incredible! I got mine sweet (with maple syrup instead of the mushroom gravy option) but I really appreciated that the soy chicken breading and waffle both had more complex flavours than your typical american breakfast chicken and waffles, so I could see how either the syrup or gravy would compliment it excellently.

Pros: All vegan, Kind staff, Delicious !

Vegan Brunch Destination

I’m so glad to find this cafe in NE! It was hard to pick from their menu because the offerings all sounded so good! I decided on the biscuits and gravy with kale and tofu scramble, side of potatoes, and also ordered sweet cornmeal waffle.
The potatoes were perfectly seasoned and crispy, the waffle was tasty, but cornmeal makes it a little tough. The biscuits were meh, but the gravy was good. I don’t like tofu scrambled, (texture thing), but the seasoning was good. Fast service, spacious dining room with hip vibe. I will definitely eat here again!

I’m sorry but basic

We came for the French toast which unfortunately they were out of two hours before closing. We got the biscuits and gravy which was luke warm. Also blossoming lotuses biscuits and gravy is undeniable better. My fiancé got the breakfast bowl which was good but basic. I’d come back here to try the French toast but if they were out of it I’d pop over to Mis Tacones.

Consistently amazing!

This place is so underrated and overlooked in my opinion. The menu is pretty streamlined with a focus on whole foods and balancing food groups and flavors. We always leave feeling completely satisfied and nourished. Ask for the house hot sauce!

More Than Just "Rabbit Food"

I ordered the breakfast burrito which is "Ota tofu scrambled with kale and herbs, black beans, potatoes, yams, and tomato-corn relish with sunflower chile cream in a whole-wheat tortilla."
It was warm and perfectly grilled on the outside. The relish adds a slight sweetness.

Pros: all vegan

Cons: outdoor seating appeared dirty
