Local khao gaeng (food with rice) vegan (เจ) stall located at the edge of Klong Toei Market. Offers various pre-made curries and stir-fries, noodle soups, snacks, khao tom (rice soup), steamed buns, and other dishes and sides for takeaway or eat-in with limited seating. The menu changes daily. Open Mon-Sun 5:00am-2:00pm.

Hearty, passionate and good food

The people are so extremely friendly, be prepared to use a translator as there is no menu or English speaking staff member, just point at some dishes and try your luck 😉 no prices are displayed but expect to pay around 50 baht per plate.

Veg khao gaeng stall in Klong Toei

I grabbed some gaeng som (sour curry) and pad tua ngok (stir fried bean sprouts with tofu) to take home. It's a smallish stall along the edge of the market. You can find it by looking for the yellow flag with red text that reads เจ. IIRC there is also a sign in English that reads "vegetarian food." The word vegetarian is in the title, but everything they had when I went (granted, it was a little later in the morning so they would have sold out of some things) was vegan.
