Really good indian restaurant !

Even though there are few vegan items, what we ordered was so delicious we came back ! We had the chana masala (chickpeas with a spicy tomato sauce), the daal with black lentils, and the yellow daal. You can ask for "no butter" to make sure your food and bread is vegan, they will understand. Very special mention for the panipuris, crispy dough balls filled with vegetables and delicious sauces, that we crave everyday since tasting them !! You have to try it if you go there

Pros: Delicious food, Original choices, They understand "no butter" and will adjust

Solid

I came here on three occasions, and ordered delivery on FoodPanda a couple more. There are four curries on the menu that are natively vegan, so you get a bit of choice.

I thought the food was very good and the staff were really friendly, although I found the atmosphere in the restaurant a little too quiet for my liking. It almost felt like you had to whisper.

Pros: Four natively vegan curries

Great food, close to night market

Luckily this place was on Happy Cow, because by the time we arrived to Udon Thani, Primani's was the only place open! The owners speak English and can accommodate to our vegan needs. There are quite a few options to choose from for the mains, so we chose three: Bombay potatoes (the best we've tried outside of India - this is a must order dish!), Vegetable curry and Tarka Dal. We also ordered the jeera rice and 2x rotis for the side, and a masala poppadom to start. Once again, we ordered far too much and were so full when we left. We couldn't even finish everything. The price was reasonable and the food was delicious, quick to come out and full of flavours and spices. They also refill the chutneys, so that was a bonus! A lovely place close to the night market with good food.
