Cosy, friendly, GF vegan options - Edit
Late review, but travelled here July 2023. On a 4° day this cosy restaurant with vegan options was a life saver. Clearly marked on menu. Had the risotto which was flavourful and delicious.

Nice venue at the end of Arrowtown’s Main Street. They had inside and outside seating options (we sat outside so our dog could be with us). Vegan options were clearly marked on the menu. We had the vege breakfast made vegan (tofu, potato rosti, mushrooms, guacamole, tomato, spinach), fries, the falafel salad and and an iced americano. All options were very tasty, and the service was friendly. Would recommend for those looking for nice vegan options in Arrowtown #Veganuary

We had a great 3 course dinner at Postmasters. The number of vegan items on the menu was pretty impressive - and they were delish. The risotto was particularly good. The service was excellent. And the wine was amazing too!

Came here while on a day trip to Arrowtown from Queenstown. A lot of other places looked a bit bleak in terms of vegan options but I was put at ease here by the line above the menu stating to simply ask waiters about vegan options. The staff were really friendly and pointed out several vegan options as well as possible substitutions for other menu items.
Read moreI had the falafel bowl from the lunch menu which was amazing. The restaurant itself is really cute and has quite a laid-back atmosphere. I would definitely come back if I ever found myself in the area again.

Visited today and ordered the falafel lunch main with salad and toasted tortilla which was really well presented and super tasty. Great service and a really beautiful restaurant in the centre of the little town with indoor and outdoor seating. Great strong coffee to finish! Although limited options for a vegan, it was great and just the lunch I was dreaming of! Also saw a range of GF cakes inside, but didn't have any.

Had a couple of dedicated vegan options and some more which could be made vegan. Really friendly helpful and informed staff. Good portion sizes and the food was gorgeous. Also had other options for dessert besides sorbet which included their own made coconut ice cream which I had with their raw lemon tart and raspberry coulis. This was really light and scrummy.

Unfortunately Arrowtown doesn’t offer any dedicated plant-based menus. This establishment doesn’t really either except for to ‘vegetarian’ options as mains for dinner. Nonetheless, ask to exclude the Parmesan and ensure there’s no bovine stock used, and this roasted capsicum risotto with lentils was delicious!!

Limited options BUT ... - Edit
So we went here for breakfast and despite not having any clearly marked vegan items they rustled up a beautiful and plentiful vegan hot breakfast for me (see pic) and I loved it. Super friendly and efficient staff and homely, welcoming atmosphere. Arrowtown is gorgeous anyway so make sure you stop by.
