Best Reuben EVER!

We made 2 trips to Bisbee to finally have the opportunity to eat here & it was so worth the effort. The nachos were so great - cheese was smooth & melty & very large portions. Reuben was amazing - I loved the marbled rye & sourkraut was tangy. Outside patio was perfect!

Pros: All vegan!, Amazing food!, Great patio

Cons: Only open on Saturday for now

Vegan Market!

We didn't eat at the restaurant, but the little market was such a sweet find.. So many vegan groceries and treats packed into such a tiny little place. I will always make a point to stop here while in Bisbee. Very glad they're there!

Vegan Grocery Store - (Also a Restaurant)

I am writing a review because my daughter and I were in Bisbee over Labor Day Weekend 2022, and we shopped in the Poco grocery store but did not eat in the restaurant. Wish I had known there was an *exclusive* vegan grocer in the heart of Bisbee. Also wish Happy Cow had a "Vegan Grocer" category, rather than health food store... or perhaps in addition to that category. I asked the person helping us if everything in the store was vegan, and they said, "yes". It is small as expected, but reminds me of little co-op type stores from the 1970s and 80s. I feel this little store next to the restaurant deserves its own little mark, as opposed to being lumped in with the restaurant. If you are doing the Bisbee Airbnb/ VRBO thing and making your own food, this place is useful. We stopped at a Sprouts in Tucson, on our way down to Bisbee, to buy vegan things to cook, but could have supported this little local place instead. The produce selection is small, but one can make do, in a pinch. Great little place and kind souls there to help.

Pros: Everything is plant-based, Kind and helpful employees , Great Bisbee vibe

Cons: Wish vegan grocer wasn't lumped with restaurant

Disappointing

First of all it’s confusing for a weary traveler. We didn’t know that you read the menu posted outside, order at the cash register and then pick a table and wait (for quite a bit). The cashier was obviously having a bad day but we weren’t so why ruin ours? The food was virtually tasteless and it was also cold (Eden beans served straight out of the can in a burrito). My meat eater friend enjoyed her Beyond burger but I’m the vegan and I was sorely disappointed in my burrito. Also chipotle Mayo has no place in a burrito-it’s akin to slathering everything with French dressing.

Pros: Entire menu is vegan , Healthy

Cons: Pricey , Poor service , Bland food

Best. Burritos. Ever.

I head to Poco's about once a week to pick up a week's supply of vegan burritos for my husband and me. The burritos are very filling (you can easily get two meals out of one) and delicious, especially when they are fresh out of the kitchen. My favorite is the macaroni-and-cheese and Brussels sprouts burrito; however, there are a lot of other combinations I enjoy as well. I look forward to the patio dining being available again (it understandably closed when COVID broke out) -- I used to love going there on a weekend afternoon and enjoying a quinoa salad (best salad ever) on the patio. I understand they are open for take-out orders on Saturdays these days, but I just haven't been able to make it there during the time that's available. According to another review here, they may also do made-to-order takeout other days of the week -- I'll have to check that out. Since I drive over from Sierra Vista, the only thing I would want to change about Poco's is the day of the week that they make the fresh burritos to sell from their store front. Right now they seem to make them late Sunday to sell starting Monday, but I can't get away from work during the week to get over there on Monday (or any other week day) before they close. They may also make them fresh another day during the week, but I'm not sure about that since I'm not there during the week. So I usually end up buying a few burritos on the weekend that are not as fresh, but they are still tasty. All-in-all, I just love Poco's, especially their burritos but also their entirely vegan store, and I'm very glad they're here.

Pros: The best vegan burritos , Great little store, all vegan, The quinoa salad (when available)

Cons: Freshest burritos not available on weekend

Grab n go available when the restaurant is closed

I couldn’t get an answer online as to whether we could get prepared food here on a Tuesday, since it seems the restaurant only operates weekends. The answer is yes - nice selection of burritos and bowls as well as beer, wine, and all the vegan snacks you’ve never seen anywhere else. Pretty good and interesting burritos - some with non traditional fillings like Mac n cheese with Brussels sprouts.

Best Vegan Mexican!

We go to POCO 3-4 times a month and I just realized I have never reviewed them on Happy Cow! POCO is the most amazing vegan food I’ve tasted in any of my travels, especially the brussels sprouts burrito and the quesadilla tacos. I feel so lucky to live nearby and get to go often! Now that the side patio is open again, the atmosphere to sit and people watch in Bisbee is tops!

Pros: Brussels Sprouts Burrito, Outdoor Patio, Delicious Flavors

More places like this should exist

Visited this tiny but mighty market several times while passing through Bisbee. Fell in love with the grab and go burritos and Saturday brunch offerings.

Delicious and adorable!

Incredible to find this delightful vegan cafe in the heart of Bisbee and it has a fantastic menu. The roasted brussel sprouts burrito was awesome. So creative and goooood!! We also had the Chickn’ Ranchero Chimichanga which was great! They have Beyond Meat Sausage with fun toppings. And their nachos have homemade cashew queso! Looooved every bite!!

Pros: Absolutely fabulous all vegan menu, Lovely dog friendly courtyard , Great portions and prices.

Cons: Only open for lunch

Nice surprise in Bisbee

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday while on a drive. Enjoyed the chimichanga and bowl with chipotle sausage and fried Brussels sprouts. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the shady outdoor seating.

Hot dog too hot

I really wanted to enjoy this food and support a local, or the only local vegan place. I ate their Sonaran dog and my stomach hurt from the spices in the sauce for about 18 hours. I responded to an email they sent me and voiced my complaint. First they offered me a $5 code off a future visit within the next two weeks. Then a second email was sent taking back the code and stating rudely "it seems there's no way to please you". I don't like being insulted.

Pros: Watermelon slices served on the side were tasty, Lovely day for dining outside

Cons: Too was too spicy, Effort to give feedback was met with rudeness, I have to pack my own food for trips to Bisbee

So good!

The staff, the food, the atmosphere - everything here is awesome!

I was introduced to what a "Sonoran Dog" is, and ordering anything else here would be pointless.

Go go go go!

Pros: All vegan, Friendly

Cons: It's far from me

SO Good!

We went down to the odd and adorable little town of Bisbee to check out the scene, but mostly to dine @ POCO! WOW, so delicious. Great atmosphere, owners and employees are wonderful animal advocates. I ordered the Quinoa Bowl with cashew cream, it was huge and really yummy. The Nachos were super good too. My boyfriend got a Black Bean, Chorizo and Potato Burrito, large and spicy! We had a chocolate chipotle cupcake for dessert ;) Wish I could post some photos!
Hope we can make a trip back down again soon...Yay POCO!

Pros: Great Vegan Food, Cool Location, Friendly Staff

Out of this world!

We had dinner there last night and was amazed at how great the food was... I ordered the chimichanga, my girlfriend the mexican pizza and our friend the fish tacos. All dishes had a great flavor and we exclaimed how it was the best mexican food that we've ever had. We're vegan, so were surprised when we found out that everything was vegan as I thought it was just vegetarian (I believe it is advertised as such as not to scare too many people away with the other "V" word). Portions were great and the server was very sweet and helpful. We will definitely be heading back there before we head out of town on Sunday for brunch. I so wish there were one of these in Phoenix!!!!

Pros: Amazing Food, Great Atmosphere, Friendly Staff

Y-U-M-M-Y!!!

We've been living in Cochise COunty for 3 and 1/2 years and this is the first vegan (ok, "purely vegetarian"...) restaurant and it's just wonderful!
Everything that we tried on the menu is delicious, the hybiscus tea is refreshing and the owner Kelly and her staff are so so nice! The desserts are not to be missed (we had a mouthwatering flan and, of course, the vegan mexican chocolate cupcake with butterscotch frosting...) and the atmosphere is just very inviting. They have great music in the background and we want to go back for the Sunday brunch... it is nice not to have to explain what we do and do not eat for a change!!

Pros: Great food , friendly staff, always surprising menu

Cons: I wish they had a bigger place... :)

Food with love

This is one of those places where you just know someone's soul is a big part of what's making the food. And then when you start chatting with the staff in the open kitchen, you realize you're right. Flavors burst and textures add complexity, and sometimes it even comes deep-fried, like in their totally-unique-yet-totally-satisfying chile rellenos. Sometimes it comes in the form of jackfruit, surprisingly compatible with black beans on corn tortillas. This is a great find, and my husband and I are both glad we did!

Pros: warm atmosphere, good wines by the glass

A must have!

I have been waiting for a veg restaurant in Bisbee since moving here 2 years ago. The wait was well worth it, the mother load has landed! The food is fabulous, fun, and fresh. The cupcakes have never been better. And don't forget the Bloody Maria if on the menu, you will be upset if you do. If the food and drinks don't woo you (did I mention there is wine on tap?)the friendly staff will. Everyone that works there is super fun. A great place to eat and yummy in the tummy!

Pros: Yummy, Friendly staff, GREAT food
