Yes, the food was fairly tasty but, for what you get, it's just too darn expensive. If money is no object (and, if you visited any time in the past few years, you were already at Whole Foods so...) then it's ok.

It’s fast food and it’s not crazy expensive. Burgers are done well and some are pretty original and creative. Fries with dipping sauce is my favorite though, soooooo tasty. And top it off with an oath shake, you have a real winner.

Drove about 40 mins to get to it. They are inside of Whole Foods. During October Mon-Fri, 4-6 pm, they running a special on burgers, fries, and Oatasty shake. Good classic burger meal!

Read moreVegans, you know the feeling when you are dreaming about soft serve ice cream and everyone can have it but you? Well, Plnt Burger is my dream come true for their amazing soft serve. Admittedly, I walked around Whole Foods with a soft serve cone and was shopping... pre-pandemic of course.
The menu is pretty extensive for a tiny operation like this, and whatever you choose will make you very happy. The fries and sweet potato fries, oh my, yes. The serving sizes are perfect, because if you're being honest, anything more is unhealthy. Their sizes are great, and the dipping sauces so good! I don't know which one is my fav! They also have a take on onion rings, yessss!
For the food - ok, you health nuts, get a salad. They have a couple choices now, in addition to the original small salad that can now be a large version. I like the Southwestern salad with avocado already in it and some tasty tortilla strips plus mushroom bacon and chipotle ranch dressing. It's not as large as I like my salads, but thankfully, I am not only eating salad when I'm here.
They have a chik'n sandwich based on mushrooms. Everyone's fav is their burgers - what started them on this amazing journey. They also have links from Beyond Meat, too, and what's great about any of them is two things: 1) super affordable and 2) can order without the bread. Yessss! Means I have more room for fries, a milkshake and more fries.
They have an app, so if you're local to the DMV area, get it. They have cool rewards.

I really like this place , it’s quick , clean, everyone is really nice. The French fries are great they have a light fluffy texture with onion , I like the dipping sauces garlic and herb and bloomie sauce which is like a honey mustard . The burger is great , so is the chicken sandwich . We like the bloomies .

PLNt Burger is my go to restaurant when I’m in the mood for a juicy burger and fries. Food is tasty, Service is awesome and the new Funguy Sandwich is amazing... think fried chicken sandwich except the meat substitute is a fried to perfection oyster mushroom.

I randomly walked by this place, and am so glad i did! It was a very tasty burger. The Bloomies, which are like bite sized bloomin’ onions, were fantastic. I loved all the different sauces (which you don’t have to pay extra for). um, plus oat milk soft serve?? Absolutely fantastic. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming.

This local vegan burger joint is situated inside of Whole Foods in Silver Spring, small counter space for a line and order taking and seating shared with Genji sushi.
Read moreThey have a few different configurations of burgers that use Beyond Meat patties on a grill only used for vegan items. We both ordered the PLNT Mushroom Bacon Burger, and it was fantastic. It reminds me of a cross between Five Guys and an old school burger shack.
They even have milkshakes like those burger shacks/five guys, and the taste is a cross between a Wendy's frosty and a milkshake from a local burger joint. Also delicious.
I suggest that if you're vegan, and you're looking for a quick bite to eat before a show at The Fillmore - go check out PLNT, it's pretty cheap (for a vegan place) and their service is quick.
We used our mason jar to be as zero waste as possible, and used paper with the exception of the fry container (which are also great, herbs give it a good flavor and they're pretty crispy) we composted everything else.
Please PLNT, consider getting compostable cups and fry containers so that we can all reduce our waste!

Pros: Quick service and reasonable prices, Delicious flavor and decent variety of burgers, Milkshake and soft serve using Oatmilk!
Cons: A little bit salty (in a good way but still), Limited healthy options but it's a burger place, Plastic lining in cups and fries means waste :(

These are the best burgers I have ever had. They taste so fresh and juicy. The fries are so fresh and crispy. The ice cream is so creamy and sweet. This is the best place for vegan fast food. If you are craving some vegan junk food this place is a must have. It is a long drive for me, but I will definitely be back.

Great for “transitioning” meals or if you are looking for a treat. Very flavorful fast food! The wait is usually a few minutes and you have a buzzer to let you know when your meal is ready. The salad is not as fresh or as satisfying as the burgers, so stick with the burgers. The bbq mushroom is my favorite very tasty!

What an amazing experience! I've been craving soft serve ice cream for years! Finally a great, affordable option. It was so delicious and the staff was so very friendly. It was a bit of a drive for me so I hope they open in more whole foods. Excited to try the burgers next time!

I ordered the mushroom bacon burger, fries and some bloomies. The burger was amazing, the fries perfectly seasoned. The Bloomies are not my thing but since I’d never had it (why not). The oatmilk soft serve had a perfect consistency. They even gave the kids seed packets with their “kids meal”.
