Great food, friendly staff

Pleasant Life is the same as Yueyi shown nearby on HC map. I went here twice and the staff was very friendly. Minimal English. They gave us tablets to see the menu, and we pointed to what we wanted. Photos of every dish. They took cash with no problem. Expansive menu and lots of good options and mock meats.

Sit down with many options

Many Chinese vegetarian options, some non-vegan items on the menu so make sure to ask. Need to use WeChat to order at table, no physical menus. Vegetables, mushrooms, buns, dumplings.

A Life Saver

I ordered from here at least 1-3 times per week for a year and a half because it was one of the only vegan options available and the food is consistently amazing. The dumplings come in different colours depending on the kind of dumpling. My favorite ones are green or purple. They also make wonderful soups such as their puréed pumpkin and spinach. Sometimes I took both because I couldn’t decide. During festival times, they make local treats like Moon Cake, which is really wholesome because you can still experience these Chinese traditional foods without the cruelty. The best part is when you order delivery, everything is compostable. The plastic is biodegradable. They really are a gem and I honestly would have starved without them. A real life saver. They offer mock meats as well.
