This place is massive, which is really nice to see. The food was just OK. I probably wouldn’t go back since there are other options nearby. I tried for dishes, none of them were wow. Even the tea was mediocre.

Pleasant Life is the same as Yueyi shown nearby on HC map. I went here twice and the staff was very friendly. Minimal English. They gave us tablets to see the menu, and we pointed to what we wanted. Photos of every dish. They took cash with no problem. Expansive menu and lots of good options and mock meats.

I went with 2 local non-veggies late last year - they were "socks blown off" impressed - they expected oily, sweet dishes & instead throughly enjoyed crisp / crunchy / fragrant works of art!
The owners have spent millions of Yuan on "Green Life" - it is a labor of love.
Great team running it - very friendly - speaking a little English.
Fine selection of teas.
Good selection of veggy books / comfort foods in the store.
