LIfe's a beach - Edit
This is a beachcomber-themed restaurant that serves enchiladas, tacos, beer, tequila, and the like. It is laid back, though not run-down (for instance, they have waiter service, silverware, cloth napkins, and the like), with friendly staff and quick service. They have some clearly marked vegan items. I had a vegan enchilada; it was fine, and the portions were pretty filling.

We had just arrived to town and needed a late lunch. The cauliflower bites and taco /burrito were tasty and satisfying as we began our three day trip to NYC.

Decent amount of vegan friendly selections - fun atmosphere - Edit
Walked over from Central Park - the restaurant felt like it belongs on the beach. Lots of fun interior design and spacious outdoor seating. I ordered the vegan enchiladas which were fantastic. Stuffed with loads of veggies and topped with a tangy tomatillo sauce. The vegan pepper jack cheeze that topped it was good but not spicy. I’d go back to try some of their other vegan selections.

You can find a few vegan options, which in this case were enough for me because they were very tasty. The portions are big and the prices are ok. Only thing: it was very crowded and really loud. But that might be because of the Halloween celebrations going on the night I was there?

No frills California style Mexican joint. Decent happy hour margaritas. A few vegan options including hearts of palm tacos. It’s right next-door to the Beacon theater if you’re going to a show.

Went in for an early dinner on a Saturday and grabbed food and happy hour drinks. I had the vegan enchiladas and partner had vegan tacos. We also split buffalo cauliflower wings, which were very tasty and came with a soy ranch dressing. Food was really good, and atmosphere was Southern California themed. The menu had a handful of vegan options, and about another 5 or so vegetarian options. A solid UWS bar/restaurant to suggest when you’re out with your omni friends and they’re not up for a veg restaurant.
