Worst vegan restaurant we’ve been to

We went with the whole family for lunch. 3 of us ordering the daily menu from which you could choose 2 out of 4 options, water and coffee for €14. One of us has as first course veggie pakora, which was undercooked, and 2 had a legume soup which was horrible and for sure old. One of us ordered a vegan lasaña, which was tasteless and pasty. We had a rotti which was also still completely raw. The second course for the menu (stated on their instagram) were “pita bread with guacamole, pico de gallo and oven baked cauliflower. After waiting half an hour, they let us know that the cauliflower was finished, and that they would substitute with brocoli. Not a big deal, except for the fact that the restaurant wasn’t that busy, so not having a main ingredient of the daily menu is super strange. After waiting for way too long, and rude answers from the staff, they brought us cole tacos with raw broccoli and some guacamole. It looked like a joke. We indeed told them we weren’t going to eat that. They invited us to a muffin and didn’t have to pay the lasagna. We didn’t even want to have the coffee’s , so we paid and left. This was the second time we went, as a second chance. For sure not going back again…

Cons: Rude, Expensive, Not good food

Good afternoon Lisa,

we are extremely sorry that you didn't enjoy your experience at Plant Veggie Bistrot.

Unfortunately we had a troubled lunch service on the day of your visit caused by the sudden absence of our chef that could not work on that day & by the farmer strike that is happening all aroud europe.

We are not trying to justify our mistakes, we just wanted to let you know why the service went that way.

For what concearn the food and especially for our daily set menu we work only fresh ingredients that get delivered every morning and because of the strikes we did not receive enough produce.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy our food but we can guarantee that everything was freshly cooked, we don't serve old food like you mentioned.

To make it up to your table we discounted various items from the menu and we invited you all for a free meal at our restaurant but we didn't receive any reply from your side.

For what concearn our "rudeness" allow me to say that it's the first time in 20 years that someone calls me rude on duty. We never replied in a bad way to you, to anyone of your table or any guest that ever visited Plant. It's really not in our style.

I would not consider expensive a 14,50euro set menu that includes 2 courses, home made gluten free bread, water & a coffee or tea.

We really hope to see you soon to prove you the quality of our food and service.

Our invitation is still valid :)

Our biggest apologies and best regards

Exquisite fine vegan dining

90% vegan, most exquisite courses. First time here and so hard to choose. The smoky flavor of the lasagne was fabulous, just what I like. The staff was super friendly and served each course with much information. Thank you! Will have to try every single course!!!

Pros: Attentive staff, Excellent recommendations, Lovely music

Cons: Quite busy street

Plant based veggi oasis in Ibiza

Embarking on a culinary adventure at this exceptional plant-based restaurant in Ibiza was an experience that will forever linger in my memory. The moment we stepped into the vibrant atmosphere, I knew we were in for a treat that transcended the ordinary.

The warm and friendly host welcomed us with a genuine smile, setting the tone for an evening of both culinary excellence and heartfelt hospitality. Their kindness added an extra layer of charm to an already inviting ambiance.

The journey commenced with the beetroot tartare, a breathtaking rendition of flavors and colors that showcased the true potential of plant-based cuisine. It was a captivating introduction that set the tone for the culinary symphony that followed.

The spring salad, a medley of freshness and vitality, transported us to the heart of Ibiza's bountiful nature. With each bite, we could taste the sun-soaked ingredients that had been carefully selected to create a harmonious melody of taste and texture.

However, it was the spring lasagna that emerged as the star of the show. A culinary masterpiece, it skillfully merged layers of flavor and innovation, all while paying homage to the island's abundant produce. The lasagna was a testament to the chef's prowess, weaving together a tapestry of tastes that celebrated Ibiza's essence.

As the sun began to set on this enchanting island, we savored the finale – the tiramisu. Its velvety layers of indulgence captured the spirit of Ibiza's free-spirited energy while underscoring the restaurant's commitment to ethical dining.

Nestled in the heart of Ibiza, this restaurant is more than a dining establishment; it's a celebration of the island's vitality and beauty. With a dedication to sustainable practices, an unwavering commitment to delivering flavors that inspire, and a host whose warmth and kindness left an indelible mark, this haven of plant-based delight is a must-visit. Whether you're a local or a traveler drawn to Ibiza's magic, this restaurant promises an unforgettable journey of taste, culture, and conscious dining. We eagerly anticipate returning on our next visit to this enchanting island.

Pros: Innovative Plant-Based Cuisine, Sustainable Dining:, Warm Hospitality

Finally some gourmet vegan food in the White Island

Being both vegan AND gluten intolerant is a real challenge so, to find a restaurant that is completely gluten free and has a menu that is 90% vegan already feels like winning the lottery. If you add original recipes, mixing the traditional with innovative flavours, drinks you cannot get anywhere else in Spain and excellent service, you have the perfect recipe for success. I highly recommend their lasagna and the “miso” aubergine, which is a Mediterranean twist on the Japanese classic. Even the bread and grissinis are to die for! Would come back to the island just to dine here again.

Pros: Entirely gluten free, Mostly vegan, Reasonably priced

Cons: Can’t wait for the fully vegan tiramisu!

Delicious food and great service

Will be visiting this lovely restaurant again before our holiday ends!
I had the pea tortilla and my partner had the lasagne; both were vegan, full of flavour and the plates looked beautiful!
Everything was gluten free so this place was an absolute treat for me……the homemade breads and the chocolate coulant were amazing!
So refreshing to have such a choice of dishes and to leave a restaurant feeling like I’d eaten something truly special!!
