Vegan pizza with vegan cheese - Edit
Very good pizzas with vegan cheese. Also enjoyed the fries with vegan ali oli. In my opinion, the best vegan pizza in Bilbao (and I’ve lived in Italy a looooong time 😉)

On the strength of previous reviews here, we decided to get a takeaway pizza.
Read moreAs promised, there are two pizzas which they can make vegan by using vegan cheese instead: De la heurta, and begeta.
We chose the de la heurta and enjoyed a couple of ice cold sangrias in the bar while we waited for them to make the pizza.
The drinks were delicious and the pizza didn't disappoint.
Our only criticism was that there was rather a lot of olive oil which made it rather greasy.
Pros: Friendly staff, A couple of vegan pizza options, Included a pizza slice holder with takeaway order
Cons: Pizza was somewhat oily

A gem in Bilbao - Edit
Friends took us to Merikitchen for the first time a few weeks ago and it was amazing. They have a really great hummus starter with fresh bread and a pizza with vegan cheese that I fell in love with. Their vegan sandwiches are also great!

This place doesn't have many vegan options, but the ones they have are delicious. The staff is great, the person who helped us (in English) was wonderful and patient enough to talk us through the menu. The pizza crust is delicious and the salad was more than enough for two. P.S. they use olive oil liberally, which I personally enjoyed.

Great friendly staff (I think it was the owner): helpful even off the menu, explained everything in English, friendly. I got a great vegan pizza, potatoes with dressing and lemonade. Friendly environment.

A pesar de no ser 100% vegano, la verdad que está muy bien! Tienen queso vegano y se acomodan genial. Muy bueno el servicio y precio buenísimo y más en la zona. Además ofrecen menú del día por 10€, opciones interesantes y cantidad muy buena!

Todas las pizzas que llevan verduras podían hacerse veganas añadiendo queso vegano. Estaban muy ricas y eran grandes.
