tasty and satisfying - Edit
Only one main vegan dish: a big pan with mushrooms, vegetables, vegetal soup, noodles, tofu, rice and some pieces of "soya-chicken".
Read moreYou can choose how much do you want it spicy, but remember: little spicy for us, means spicy for them.. so ask very very very little spicy!!
You will not go home hungry!

Good vegan options - Edit
The staff were helpful on saying what is vegan. I was a bit uninspired and went for the cheeseless vegetarian pizza. However they do a lot of Japanese and Korean options that can be made vegan. Place is a bit pricier than other options in the area
Read morePros: Meals can be made vegan, Friendly staff
Cons: Pricier than usual in the area, If you want pizzas to be vegan they will be basic

Pros: Ambiente/Sauberkeit, Freundlicher Service, Essen

Nice toppings that hit the spot - Edit
We were craving pizza and were glad to find this place just around the corner from our hostel.
Read moreThere's a separate vegetarian menu and we both chose the mixed mushroom pizza with black olives. The toppings were absolutely delicious and it was maybe my favourite pizza flavour that we've had on this trip. However, the base didn't seem to be freshly made (apologies if that's not the case) as it was a perfect circle and had more of a pastry texture to it. It was also quite expensive at about 32 ringgits for a meatless pizza.
The pizza hit the spot for us, and had a really nice flavour, so I don't think you'll be disappointed if you eat here.
Pros: Great toppings flavour
Cons: Fairly expensive, The dough was more like pastry than bread

Limited vegan options for a high price - Edit
In the meantime Misokimchi and Pizzarella are one place and have a shared menu. The vegan options are very limited. Besides French Fries and Potatoe Wedges, only main to be sure is vegan, is the Bibimbap, if you order it without egg. Kimchi Ramen and Kimchi Fried Rice (without sausage and egg!!) probably too, but you cannot be sure.
Read moreBe always aware and ask, if its really veggie, e.g. kimchi rice on the lunch menu has a veggie sign, but comes with chicken sausage if you dont say anything. Veggie lovers menu has chicken in it, according to the menu description. So always ask.
The food itself is quite good, intense flavours and pretty spicy. The prices on the other hand are quite high, especially for pizza (no vegan options available, as far as I see it).
Furthermore, there are some homemade things to buy like marmelade and vegan protein bar (really nice, not too sweet).
All in all one of the very few places in Tanah Rata where you can get at least acceptable vegan food. Potential for more but the alternatives given: Thats the place to be 😀

Salad & Magharita Pizza - Edit
A small cozy restaurants with some vegetarian options highlighted with a small green 'V' icon on the menu. I've been extra cautious by writing down my vegetarian request on the order list, and my food turns out fantastically well for me. The staff is also very nice and helpful.
