Big vegetarian menu selection - Edit
This restaurant has combined with Pizzarella. I just realised they had another listing as Misokimchi. After all, there are into one that serves both Western, pizza, Japanese & Korean.
Read moreWe had been going consecutively to try out their vegetarian menu during our 3 days stay in Cameron.
They had another branch in Cameron Centrum, Brinchang.
All foods are really delicious with high standards. We tried their vegetarian ramen, Korean Vegetarian dalgabi bento & the Asian steamboat. Ohhh... Must try their cheesy topokki. It taste so good...

great veggie options! - Edit
they have a vegetarian menu, which is awesome! we ordered a verdure pizza without cheese, a dalgabi chicken bento, a side of wedges, and a drink.
Read moretotal cost was about RM80 (incl SVC), which is steep for food in cameron. this was arguably also some of the tastiest food we had here (the wedges & the korean bento were 💯), so i’d say it’s worth the price. definitely a place to revisit (:
Pros: delicious food, friendly staff, good variety of options
Cons: pricey

Delicious Korean food - Edit
Serves meat, veggie, and vegan options. I had the cheesy tteokbokki (only vegetarian) which was sooo good, thoroughly recommended. My meat eating partner had the teriyaki chicken platter on the dinner set menu which he said was amazing. They have a lot of choice on the menu - pizzas, pastas, ramen, noodles, bento etc etc!! Would also recommend the scone, served warm and with homemade strawberry jam and was perfectly baked

Separate vegetarian menu! - Edit
Plenty of options including Italian, Japanese and Korean on a separate vegetarian menu which is handy and pleasant to see. We wanted something filling so went with pizza which was nice, could be a bit bigger for the price. The miso soup was awesome!

Good Western, Japanese and Korean options! - Edit
The restaurant has a separate menu for vegetarians with 2-3 pages of options. We opted for Miso Soup and pizza which were both decent. I wish the pizza was a bit bigger, but overall it was a nice place to eat

Served meat - Edit
The first time we went we had a good experience- we clarified the veggie dishes could be made vegan, this was written on the order and we got tasty vegan food (bibimbap & Tteokbokki) although very expensive. We came back and ordered from the lunch specials. Unfortunately after verbal checks, writing down on our order vegan, no meat, no egg, no dairy, we ended up with meat in the kimchi rice. Apparently when communicated with the kitchen the no egg had been specified but not no meat, and although there’s a green leaf next to the dish on their menu that just means there’s a vegetarian option. It does not specify anywhere that it comes with meat in it as standard. We were very disappointed. They were apologetic and made a fresh vegan friendly dish although we had to ask for this to be removed from the bill.
Read moreIf you’re tempted to go because of the lack of variety of vegan food available in Tanah Rata (largely Indian food) then just be very careful when ordering and checking. They don’t use mock meats so if anything looks meaty don’t eat it and double check! I hope they sort out their menus and communication to avoid these issues in the future

Decent food - Edit
A good choice for dinner if you have had enough of the indian food, an defintely much better options than all of the other establishments. It is very easy to indicate you dont want egg, we had the vegan bimibap, which was really good and the vegan tokboki. They also have some otpikns for vegan pizza and the staff is aware of vegans and vegetarians, even having a seperate menu

The food is ok but I expected sth more as there are not so many non-Indian restaurants in the town. I took bibimbap and it was just ok.

Leckeres vegetarisches Steamboat - Edit

Limited vegan options for a high price - Edit
In the meantime Misokimchi and Pizzarella are one place and have a shared menu. The vegan options are very limited. Besides French Fries and Potatoe Wedges, only main to be sure is vegan, is the Bibimbap, if you order it without egg. Kimchi Ramen and Kimchi Fried Rice (without sausage and egg!!) probably too, but you cannot be sure.
Read moreBe always aware and ask, if its really veggie, e.g. kimchi rice on the lunch menu has a veggie sign, but comes with chicken sausage if you dont say anything. Veggie lovers menu has chicken in it, according to the menu description. So always ask.
The food itself is quite good, intense flavours and pretty spicy. The prices on the other hand are quite high, especially for pizza (no vegan options available, as far as I see it).
Furthermore, there are some homemade things to buy like marmelade and vegan protein bar (really nice, not too sweet).
All in all one of the very few places in Tanah Rata where you can get at least acceptable vegan food. Potential for more but the alternatives given: Thats the place to be 😀

Really happy with my experience here. The waitress was super helpful and recommended the bibimbap without egg - it was super tasty, but the only option for vegan. Would definitely go back.

Be cautious about the menu - Edit
I ordered their daily lunch special kimchi soup with rice. It could be ordered with or without beef broth. I took it without so expected it to be meat free but apparently it included sausage! It was later when I realized that kimchi ramen was the vegeterian option, not kimchi soup!

Finally some variation in Tanah Rata - Edit
Staying a month in Cameron Highlands, and as you noticed... the overall food scene isn’t that spectacular here compared to for example Melaka or Penang. So when I find something vegan that isn’t your standard Indian or bland-rice-with-veggies I’m a happy gal.
Read moreTried the veggie bibimbap, without egg. Even though it doesn’t even come close to actual Korean food from Korea (I lived there), it’s quite decent and different from what else there is in town. Staff is friendly too.
They cooperate with the pizza place a few stalls next door, but I wouldn’t recommend ordering from there. We ordered curry puffs and onion rings that arrived AFTER we finished dinner... it was so disappointing: 6 pieces of the cheapest-of-cheapest freezer spring rolls you can buy in the supermarket for $2 for a pack of 50... the “onion” rings was just deep fried batter without onion. We took 1 bite and left it.
Also our drinks arrived after we finished eating, we were so thirsty during the meal!

Pros: Different food, Not too pricey, Friendly staff
Cons: Drinks and entrees came AFTER dinner, No nice seating options, shopping mall area , Food from pizza menu is bad
