Best pizza in New Orleans

Pizza Delicious has whole pizzas and slices, and they always have a vegan option. Their pizza is probably the best pizza you are going to find in New Orleans, especially one with vegan options. This also might be the first vegan friendly pizza place in New Orleans since I remember eating there 10+ years ago and being excited I could actually order something.

It's a bit pricy, so we tend to order whole pizzas for special occasions, but the pizzas are huge. Vegan pizzas come without cheese and cost 4 bucks extra for daiya on a whole pizza. They have vegan salad and pasta, but I haven't tried it.

Pigs flesh

Second time my order was messed up. First time I paid 4$ extra for vegan cheese and it came without. This time I ordered vegan pasta and it came with 2 pieces of pigs flesh on it. I returned to ask for a replacement and the kitchen manager stood there and told me it was mushrooms. I bit it, believing her, and lo and behold it was pigs flesh. I returned again and said sorry, but this is pork. She refused to believe me doubling down and INSISTING it was mushrooms. It was 100% pork I know that for certain. It was extremely upsetting and ruined my day. A mistake is a mistake, but refusing to admit it and humiliating me was really really uncool. I don’t reccomend any vegan eat here it seriously upset me and I generally don’t have any problems eating out.

Good cheap pizza slices

Had the vegan Brussel sprout pizza (no cheese but daiya option a extra $4 not sure if that price is for a whole pizza but would be steep on a slice that i think was about 3 bucks) but enjoyed the slice without, big, crispy and a nice dough could’ve done with a bit more topping though! They also have a vegan pasta option and I think the salads could be veganized! Also the first place in Nola where I wasn’t t given single use plastic! The beer and water cups are glass/reusable plastic!

Pros: Pizza by the slice pasta option , Less use of plastic , Clearly labeled

Cons: Adding cheese expensive

Great NY Style Pizza!

They have a couple vegan options between pizza, pasta and salad. I had the special pizza, it had roasted cauliflower and was great. They have dayia cheese so you can also make your own pizza. Had a delicious looking vegan pasta option but I wasn't able to try it on this trip.

Pros: giant slices, good vegan options

yums

I enjoyed my vegan spinach and roasted garlic pizza. It was a little spicy, which was a nice surprise. It's thin crust pizza. The indoor seating is limited and the place was super busy when we arrived on a Saturday evening.

Meh

Convenient bywater location, but not the place for me. Had a very Brooklyn hipster vibe (something I came to NoLa to escape). They were out of vegan pizza slices and I was also told they do not carry mushrooms. At all, ever. Huh? A pizza place that refuses mushrooms?? So to be sporting, I had the campanelle, which was just ok. Lots of oil and garlic. Perhaps they do a good pizza? I'll likely never find out.

Pros: Tries To Have Vegan Options

Cons: Hipster, No Mushrooms!
