Excellent hummus and pita baked on the spot. Open late in the afternoon in case you need to eat and everywhere else has its kitchen closed

Tasty falafel wrap - Edit
I had a tasty falafel wrap for takeaway. When waiting, I felt uncomfortable as the owner was talking to their staff in a rude way.

nice food, guy working had a bad day i guess - Edit
We ordered formule maxi (pita, 2 add-ins, drink, dessert). The guy wasn’t very friendly and keen on explaining us how and what you can order. We ate our pitas, mine was delicious, it was the only falafel that i tried and liked. Then we wanted to order our desserts and the guy said he was no longer serving them.😒

The pita was awesome; good combination of stuffing. Several vegan options and even a very tasty vegan dressing! Options weren’t well labeled, but staff was very helpful😄

Delicious, several vegan options, good size portions - Edit
Not well labelled which is a shame, would appreciate a vegan menu or a sign indicating what can be made vegan. Otherwise, delicious & quick, had a vegan cake on offer too

The falafel reference in town - Edit
They pre-fry the falafel and fry it again for a second time just before serving, which makes it warm and fluffy. The sauce is delicious, as well as the bread. I personally don’t like the raw onions which in my opinion are cut way too big, so I ask for my sandwich without it.

Tasty, fast, cheap - Edit
The vegan falafel pita is very delicious, everything is fresh made and the bread is super fluffy. If you have questions about ingredients you can just ask the staff - they are welcoming and helpful. I can highly recommend the ice cream, I had the strawberry flavour.

Great pita for a fair price - Edit
We had a great meal here for only 5.50€. The owner is super friendly, cares about his work and makes sure that his ingredients are locally sourced. Perfect for a quick and healthy snack.

Cheap and good - Edit
Cheap and The Pittz is a snackbar with falafel at the city center of Aix-en-Provence. I hab the special offer including a falafel sandwich, a drink and an ice. The sandwich was tasty and had a good size. Forther more i liked the ice, wich comes from a local manufakturer. You can sit in the little snackbar, there are even two seats outside. The owner is very friendly. The Pittz is definitely one of the best value for money in Aix-en-Provence. Really a recommendation.

Tasty homemade food - Edit
I had a vegan platter with falafel, pitta bread, hummus, and raw salad, and the falafel tasted just perfect! As the owner proudly told me, he makes the falafel and the sauce himself. The owner really loves his business and is always up for a little chat - in French or in English. It´s a bit of a shame that even when you eat in you only get some kind of cardboard plates, but then that´s better than plastic, and the disposable cutlery is made of wood. Right now the place looks like a typical (not so charming) snackbar and the walls are a collection of customers´ graffiti on tulip wall paper, so it should be interesting to see it after the make-over in August.

Délicieux ! - Edit
Regrettable...

Not much if you are a gluten free vegan - Edit
Food was good. Falafels are gluten free and delicious. Would've been better if they had some gluten free pita bread. Had to eat a salad and its disappointing when your only option is a salad.

A lot of vegan options (falafels in salad or with pita bread, noodles, vegan desserts, and also vegan mayo to go with fries). Very nice staff and cheap :)

good and cheap - Edit
I think its the cheapest and best ratio you can find in Aix for a vegan fallafel. they mostly use organic ingredients and the fallafel sandwitch come with the original tehina sauce (made of sesame) rather than a cheap ketchup as you find in other kebab places for example. They now have other vegan food, like noodles and soup. a place to encourage to grow its vegan side!
