NO LONGER VEGAN - Edit
A regular of Pino’s till this week.
Read moreNow no longer vegan with few vegan options.
Walked in this morning to have breakfast and it smelt of bacon.
Taking my money to business that are cruelty free or mostly cruelty free like Momo’s Wholefoods, Vego’s and Greasers Good Food

Was one of the best vibes in Newcaslte 🙏 - Edit
Pinos was definitely worth your time.
Read moreBefore they made the decision to serve animals to try make an extra buck.
A terrible shame.
The food and drinks served were exceptional second only to the customer service offered.
Stevie (who seems to be morning manager/ supervisor) maintains a high level of personal customer service which is backed by both the beautiful decor of the restaurant and customer service of the staff.
The food coming out of the kitchen (once) absolutely fit this high standard, while still remaining casual and approachable.
Which I think is important to make vegan food away from the stereotypes of grass grazing herbivores.
Pinos is one positive step on our path to world domination ( sorry a healthier, happier planet safe for all life) .....
Except not anymore
🙏💗

This was so saddening to hear as I had been going there for years, this was THE vegan spot for fine dining in Newcastle. No need to double check you told the wait staff you’re vegan or make sure there isn’t dairy when the meal arrives. There was a calmness and you were able to enjoy your meal.

Fabulous Italian food - Edit
I'd heard lots of good things about pinos and wasn't sure if it would love up to expectations. It was a lovely dining experience. Romantic setting with lovely artwork on the walls. Awesome wine list. Had the arancini balls and frittata to start. I respect the amount of sauce that both came with. The tiger sauce on the frittata was phenomenal. Next had the cacao E Pepe gnocchi. The sauce was rich and creamy and the gnocchi were perfect little potato pillows. I believe their menu rotates frequently, I will definitely be visiting again.

Amazing focaccia. So. Damn. Good. Got the Reuben sandwich and loved it besides the pumpkin cheese (it’s a sticky kind of cheese)

Amazing Italian experience (gluten-free friendly!) - Edit
Fancy for delicious Italian? The menu is all vegan and almost everything could be made gluten-free. A heaven on earth 💚 We ate there on Friday evening and it very busy and loud. I would recommend you to book a table if you plan on going, you can do it online on their homepage and the process is quick and simple.
Read moreWe ordered two different starters, two different mains and one desert, and everything was amazing! I would definitely go there again. The cost of you evening without drinks was about $90 so not too bad, but not the cheapest either. Definitely worth it!
Pros: Everything is VEGAN!, Almost everything can be made gluten-free , Delicious food!!!
Cons: Loud - full of of people on Friday night , Not the cheapest

Something new in Newcastle vegan world! - Edit
They switched to vegan menu in Oct 2018 and it was absolutely right decision! Brusketta with eggplant was good. Brussel sprouts were good only first 5 minutes, but then it "reminded" about itself next 5 hours with not smooth digesting... Pana Cotta was delicious, but too small for $8. Red pasta was awesome!

Cons: Expensive, Brussel sprouts
