Awesome vegan options! - Edit
They have harder to find vegan options like vegan shrimp and soup dishes. Everything was a little salty, but overall really good! Service was pretty slow and inattentive, though.

good vegan options - Edit
The food was pretty ok. I also tried the Garlic Eggplant dish and omgggg that was probably the best thing I got there.🔥🔥 the rice and noodles weren’t anything special, matter of fact they could have had a little more flavor. The volcano chicken & Thai tea were hella bomb👌🏾

Nope - Edit
This is the first time I’ve ever given a low rating to any place on Happy Cow. The food was just okay and seemed very greasy. We ordered the vegan volcano chicken, veggie chow mein, and egg rolls. We waited 50 minutes for our food. Yes 50, with no explanation or apology from the waitress until it was time to pay and tip. The waitress was also very unfriendly, not just to us but to people at the tables around us. Bad day? I don’t know. Definitely would not go here again

Delicious Vegan Options - Edit
The first thing that impressed me was how helpful our waiter, Adam, was! After mentioning that we were vegan, plus I can only tolerate a very small amount of onions and garlic (yeah, what am I doing eating dinner in Gilroy?!), he gave us several suggestions for modifying things that were on the Vegetarian menu. We ordered per Adam's suggestions and everything was absolutely delicious! We had Tempura String Beans - perfectly cooked - with regular tempura sauce instead of the garlic aoli, Tom Yum Soup full of veggies, and Spicy (Garlic) Eggplant without the garlic. The chef made flavorful substitutions that were very tasty. We will eat at Pineapple Village again the next time we are passing through Gilroy!

Good Curry - Edit
Stopped in for a quick lunch and was very pleasantly surprised by this place. Nice atmosphere. Thai food broadly defined to include some other Asian influences. Easy to identify vegan options. Very good tofu vegetable curry. Tempura green beans are great.

Pineapple Village - Edit
I remember when this restaurant first opened and they were putting their menus on your front door. Well, thank you, Pineapple Village, for coming to this small town. With a menu my whole family can enjoy, we usually do take out about once a week! No joke.
Read moreThey have a huge vegetarian menu and even have some fake meat options! My favorites are the vegetarian chow mien and they have a spicy eggplant dish. Ugh, I am drooling now.
Just go- take my advice and go. You won't be disappointed.
Pros: Super nice staff, Big vegetarian menu, Delicious food
Cons: None, Still none, None??
