I like the occasional visit if I'm in the area. But honestly, I sometimes felt a little unwell after my meals. If you are WFPB, don't bother. It will taste good, but you may very well regret it later. The people are great and I'm told the beer is good.

We've been here a few times now and the food has always been great. Cant beat an all-vegan brewery if that's your thing. Lots of options and the portions are well sized. It's definitely more on the bar/junk food side.
Read moreI knocked a star off due to the last time we went. They forgot about my order, and then even when they acknowledged it, it still took another 20-30 minutes to get me my food. Apparently there are 2 different kitchens and there was a miscommunication. They did comp me my meal though, so not the end of the world.

My partner and I each got the BLT wrap with chickn and ranch dressing! Perfect portions for the wraps and so flavourful. I wanted the pretzel bites but they were out- so we got the massive pretzel so we could still try it. The pretzel was HUGE! Planning to heat it up when we get back on the road tomorrow 😊 if we are ever back this way would love to try the Mac n cheese options and the burgers! Love that it’s 100% vegan too and the entire menu looks and sounds delicious!!

Everything on the menu always sounds so good. My partner and I end up ordering much more than we probably should, but we are never disappointed. We've been here multiple times and have tried their pizza, sandwiches, mac n' cheese bowls, salads, and numerous specials. You can't go wrong with any of it. Oh, and they have good beer. :)

We've been to Pig's Mind twice in the past week and not one thing has disappointed us! We wish we lived closer because their bbq pork sandwich is the best I've ever had! (I'm not a big fan of jackfruit ones and this is made with soy curls!!!) We also tried their queso: amazing! And their cheezy steak pita which was a weekend special: delicious! Any time we have to make a trip up to Wisconsin we'll be stopping here now!

We drive here about 3-4 times per year. Sometimes for beer releases and sometimes just to get our vegan bar food feed bag on.

Their addition of the pizza oven has added some great pizza options and the Mac n Chz skillets are really tasty.
There is also several wraps and bowls that are a tad healthier than the typical bar food items.
My only reason for 4 stars is that they have too many faux meat options now. They originally made all of their ingredients in house.

First time visiting pig minds and wow - truly the gem of Rockford. I had the Rueben, fries, and a happi daze beer (blueberry). There are sooo many options I had trouble deciding and could go 10 times and get something new every time. Not that I’d want to…the Reuben was incredible. The menu was full of house made items including the seitan and sauerkraut on my sandwich. There were plenty of more familiar options for the non veg’n people at the table as well, which I love. Vibes were great. The microbrewery was in view. 10/10 overall. Thank you pic kinda for being here!!!

I had the “I’m Corny” (Elote) Mac n cheese bowl. I’m used to west coast dining where you pay $20 for a fist sized portion. This bowl probably contained an entire box of pasta and an ear of corn. It was so good and I kept having to remind myself that yes, it is vegan.

Read morewe ordered the reuben sandwich and korean bbq tacos. the reuben was one of the best vegan reuben sandwiches i've had, and the seitan was very realistic tasted great! the korean bbq tacos were messy but good, and the kimchi had the perfect amount of heat. despite being a bit of a mac and cheese snob, i was super impressed by the mushroom & onion mac n cheese and it is probably some of the best mac i've had. i was surprised by the olives, but found they really added to the dish! to finish, we ordered a brownie to share. very rich in flavor and not dry at all!
overall, this definitely makes it onto the list of my favorite veg restaurants, i would totally recommend trying it out if in the area:) #Veganuary
