Smoothie Bowls! - Edit
This is my go-to place for after-workout fuel. I always get a smoothie bowl and a yummy treat from their pre-made selection.

Quick, fresh and yummy - Edit
Thrive Cafe had such an awesome atmosphere and friendly staff when I visited. The wheatgrass growing on the counters was an awesome touch! I loved that they offered fresh juices along with so many smoothie options. My sister and I shared the edgy veggie salad and sweet pea salad which were both great! It was nice to see that the salads we ordered didn't include any animal products and we didn't have to customize. The asian tahini dressing was amazing!! We also shared the dragon slayer smoothie which was super refreshing.

Vegan Comfort Food - Edit
It was lunch rush, they were slammed, and my food was still ready within 10 minutes of walking in the door. I had the EDGY VEGGIE quinoa and brown rice bowl with Paleo Ranch dressing. It was so comforting, filling, and satisfying. Best of all, it was healthy! The staff was friendly and welcoming in spite of the rush. The space is clean. The smoothie bowls other people were walking away with look amazing, so I have to go back! The worst thing I can say about the place is that a left turn from Perryville takes forever. Instead, from Riverside, turn onto Rock Valley Pkwy next to the KFC. Turn left onto Marsh Hawk and then right onto Broadcast Pkwy. It will be immediately on your right.
Read more*Editing to mention that that taxes in Loves Park must be high. I ordered a $7 smoothie and $6 bowl. It was $15.70 after tax, and that seems excessive. They don't give receipts. Last time it was over $8 for a bowl and nothing else. Maybe they charge extra for using a card, but they don't tell you that. Also, therr was maybe 1/4 of an avocado, so still disappointed with that aspect.

Pros: Locally-owned, Delicious, Lots of options
Cons: Busy, Left turn from Perryville is a disaster, Total charge seems high
