So many vegan options

Came to eat here while staying in the Poconos
Such a clean restaurant and the guy who owns it is so nice .
There’s tons of vegan food to eat and clearly marked as vegan . And so so good!
He let us know that the tofu was cooked in the fryer with other food, just in case we had an issue with that which was very nice for him to let us know .

Pros: Very nice owner, Clearly marked vegan food

Many vegan options in a town with few

Phu Thai 611 has many vegan options. Anything on their menu marked with a V can be prepared vegan. Owner is very knowledgeable about veganism and even "lectured" us a little on what is and isn't vegan. While we don't mind that our food is fried in the same fryer as meat (soy bean oil), he was adamant that that meant we weren't vegan and that our food wasn't vegan. Whatever, to each is own and we just said we want our tofu fried as opposed to steamed. If you don't specify, they will steam your tofu if you ask for your order to be vegan.

We had the spring rolls (not marked as vegan according to him b/c of being fried in the same soy oil as meat BUT they're ingredients are all vegan. We also had the cashew nut stir-fry and pra raam stir-fry, both with tofu. Portion sizes were good and the food was very good. Hubby and I both wish the stir-frys had more sauce with them, so if sauce is your thing, ask for extra.

The restaurant is currently take-out only because they are short on staff, but they do have interior seating available when/if they return to dine-in service. The parking lot is large and easy to access. We ordered our food from the parking lot and they brought it out to us in less than 15 minutes. Owner was very nice, minus the lecture and we will return since there are no other vegan options nearby.

Pros: Understands veganism, Many vegan options, Good, fresh food prepared quickly

Cons: Takeout only
