So delicious! - Edit
I had a pizza with vegan mozzarella, red peppers, red onions, chkn, garlic, spinach, and olive oil. It was just what i needed after a hike and more than enough food. I had it on the vegan cauliflower crust and it was honestly out of this world. Waiter was very nice as well. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Great ‘za! - Edit
We ordered the vegan version of the White Pocket Pizza, with pesto instead of alfredo, vegan cheese, chik’n, roasted red pepper, red onion, & spinach. It was delicious!
Read moreIt was a Friday night and they had live music so it was pretty busy and loud. We ended ordering it to-go and going back to our hotel - the Best Friends Roadhouse - in the meantime. Luckily it was only about 500’ away! A staff member there told us that Peekaboo is owned by one of the founders of Best Friends Animal Society, and supplies the complementary vegan pastries at the hotel (yummy zucchini bread, banana bread, welcome cookies, etc) which is pretty awesome!
Pros: Lots of vegan/veganizable dishes, Delicious, Good customer service
Cons: Serves dairy

Good food. Bad service - Edit
Our food was very delicious, but unfortunately our server was awful! We had to wait for literally everything! She promised plates, twice!, but never brought any! Other people did seem to be getting good service though. It just seemed like we got a bad one!

Vegan and GF pizza - Edit
We were excited to find Peekaboo Canyon Wood Fired Kitchen on @happycow (especially munchkin). They are a vegetarian restaurant with many vegan options, including vegan sausage, plus they have gluten free crust. 🤗 Dan and Isabel both got the sausage and vegan cheese, but I got a gluten free vegan Margherita pizza. All of our food was so delicious. It may have been the best vegan gluten free pizza I’ve ever had, and we are so excited to eat there again. Since we plan on making a trip back to Best Friends, we'll definitely be back. 😉

Delicious vegan or vegetarian food (your choice) - Edit
Great pizza! We tried 5 different kinds during our stay in Kanab: “Something Special” (with multiple vegetables), Italian “Sausage,” “Pepperoni,” Mushroom, and Chikn-and-Onion. The first is vegan. We ordered the other four with the “vegan option,” which means they use vegan cheese instead of dairy cheese (all other ingredients are vegan). Pizzas may also be ordered with gluten-free crust. The Potstickers are a great appetizer (Chinese stuffed dumplings). Good micro-brewed amber ale. Pleasant tables indoors and outdoors. The staff is friendly and caring; after you come here several times, they treat you like an old friend. If I should be lucky enough to visit Kanab again, the only thing I might change is to request marinara sauce instead of bar-b-que sauce on the Chikn-and-Onion pizza. FYI: was closed on Mondays during Spring 2018

Our favorite place around. - Edit
Great to at least have a place that is veg around in the land of steak houses. Plenty of vegan options, and actually have vegan desserts. Patio is dog friendly, no real reason to eat inside most of the year. Once the Best Friends hotel opens across the street, they might need to expand.

Pros: Word vegan is on the menu more than once, At least it is vegetarian , Patio and alcohol.
Cons: Not fully vegan yet.

Great Find! - Edit
We were surprised to find a vegetarian/vegan restaurant in the small town of Kanab! We stopped on our way to Zion, and I’m so glad we did! The food was amazing, and my whole family was blown away. My boyfriend says it was the best vegan burger and fries he’s ever had!

THE BEST VEGAN BURGER OF LIFE - Edit
I got the portobello mushroom impossible burger with vegan cheese and I genuinely could not tell the difference between it and a meat burger. Except #noanimalsharmed! The toppings were delicious also, the mushroom was perfectly cooked and it also had a grilled pepper on top and the most addictive vegan pepper aioli you have ever eaten. Def would eat here again and again!

Second : the staff was very kind.
Third and final : the ambiance was awesome. We had like a mini concert from Tom Bennett country music singer outside and it was great. Heat was on so we were not cold at all, he was playing music telling us stories and we were having those delicious pizzas with a good peekaboo beer. Loved it. Best moment ever.

After a trip to Best Friends in Kanab, UT we stopped for lunch at Peekaboo. Both my friend and I are vegan so we were pleased at the variety of pizzas and other dishes on the menu that were available. We were greeted by happy employees who obviously enjoyed their job. We ordered two different pizzas to share and the owner himself brought them to us and stopped to chat. The pizzas were delicious. Friendly service, amazing food for this small town in UT. I would highly recommend this place.

So happy to have found this on Happycow! - Edit
As a longtime, strict vegan, I am used to not having many options when traveling to national parks that are in remote areas. Well, thanks to finding this restaurant in Happycow when I looked to see what was near Zion NP, my husband and I had an amazing meal! We shared the margherita pizza (I got pepperoni in my half... yum!) and the bbq chick’n sandwich with sweet potato fries. We both loved it all. Then we were even more pleasantly surprised to find out they had vegan donuts!!! Even where we live in Baltimore that’s not easy to find. He got some glazed ones to go, and I got a cherry almond muffin to go... haven’t tried any yet, but all look and smell good!

Pros: great vegan options, all vegetarian , reasonable prices
Cons: wish it was all vegan
