It was really difficult to choose from the menu because everything sounds great. Everything we ordered was super tasty, the gnocchi starter was lovely, and the doughnut dessert too was scrumptious! Definitely going back soon!!

Overpraised pasta - Edit
Visited because of the rave reviews as the best in the city. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the pasta. I found it to be basic pasta and wished I had visited another nearby vegan restaurant instead.

El restaurant té el seu encant i la proposta és original. El menjar està molt bo i l'atenció també va ser molt correcte. El preu és un pèl alt però crec que correspon a la qualitat dels plats. En general molt recomanable per anar també amb gent que no sigui vegana.

One of my favourites in Barcelona! - Edit
This restaurant was one of my favourites while I visited Barcelona. It's a pretty small and cozy place but nicely decorated and the service was excellent! I had the truffle oil and mushroom ravioli appetizer and as the main course had the vegan paella. Both were excellent, and wish I had room to try more dishes!

This restaurant was absolutely lovely, the vibe was so nice, the decor was beautiful, and the food was amazing. The staff were also really lovely. We had the bread and tomato starter, and the paella and stroganoff mains. Such a lovely meal and experience.

Read moreFirst time, I had two starters: the Atlas soup, thick and tasty; and Caesar Salad (tapa size available) with vegan bacon, a few fried gnocchi and Heura chick’n pieces. I was keen to go again, especially to have the Green Velvet: ravioli in pesto sauce with arugula and green peas - it was delicious! The meal arrived promptly. I took away for my dinner a side order of green vegetables (which was a large serving) - a piquante sauce is drizzled over spinach, green beans, broccolini and asparagus, with cashew parmesan. Really good and healthy.
A daily lunch deal is offered for a very reasonable price: a main dish, a beverage and dessert or coffee.
Service is good. The food is delicious. I would be a regular, if I lived here.

En una primera visita probé los Ñoquis Cargados con ‘queso azul’ como entrante y de platos principales de invierno el Marrakesh y el Cataluña.

Read moreThe allergens are not indicated very well on the menu though (and there are discrepancies between the online menu and the physical menu they give you at the restaurant), so it's essential to ask the staff about what is gluten-free. Good news is most dishes can be made gluten-free, apart from raviolis and gnocchis.
It was just a bit disappointing that the menu didn't have gluten-free dessert options because it is way more affordable and a more sensible choice at lunchtime. Basically, we paid each 15-17 euros only for the main dish, when we would have paid less than 14 euros per person with a lunch menu (including a drink, a salad and mini doughnuts, on top of our main dish). The waitress was very friendly and promised she would raise it to management, so hopefully it will be a bit more inclusive in the future :)

Cons: Not many tables so don't forget to book, Daily menu doesn't have gluten-free options, Expensive main dishes (without menu)

The best ever - Edit
It was such a nice experience to go there. There is a lunch menu with a main, a drink and then you can choose between mini doughnuts or coffee. The pasta was already amazing (stroganoff and Formentera were our choices), but then the mini doughnuts- warm with Biscoff cream- I was in heaven!!!! And all for not even 14€ per person

Exceptional food and attentive service - Edit
It's not often you find a 100% vegan Italian place, so I had to give this one a go. Their menu has some classics and some seasonal specials, and I'm sure everyone will find something for themselves. I started with a tapa sized portion of loaded gnocchi with an excellent blue cheese sauce, and had the formentera pasta as main course. The person who served me asked how spicy I wanted it, which was super thoughtful. Both courses were excellent and I wished I had room for dessert because I'm sure that would have been exquisite. The service was attentive without being overwhelming and I loved the organic, calming decor. Definitely a must visit.

Pastan is the most exceptional restaurant - the food is genuinely Devine, the owners and staff wonderfully kind, and the restaurant is such a lovely place to sit. we had the Catalonia and the smooth operator - both INCREDIBLE, would also recommend the ceasar salad to start as this is also divine!!

The Gracia is Green - Edit
After a good experience at the Manchester Pastan a few months previously it was inevitable that we’d try the Barcelona branch in the fabulous district of Gracia. I say branch, there’s only 4 of them. Quite a small and intimate place with comfortable room for around 30 diners plus a few window bench places. The food is excellent, with some very creative and taste bending dishes. I went for the rich spicy tomato and pepper “Formentera” with succulent chunks of Heura chikn. A most formidable choice in a most formidable place. Expect to pay around €14 for a pasta.

I am not used to go out for pasta, but this was a huge surprise!! Incredibly well elaborated and really tasty!
I had Amalfi for main with orzo pasta, first time I tried and really like it!
We shared an awesome medium size (enough for 3 people) caesar salad and gnocchi, which were nice but I prefer the classic not fried.
For dessert a choc cake that was beautiful even though was huge.
If you like pasta this is definitely your Paradise!
