Slim pickings

When I asked the staff if they had any vegan items, I was told no--but then I noticed they had vegan blueberry muffins and chocolate chip muffins (but nothing else). They charge a vegan tax for plant milk, so I got a chocolate chip muffin to go and went to Pret a Manger. The vegan muffin was good and reasonably priced.

Vegan muffins

The vegan blueberry muffin was delicious. The vegan chocolate chip muffins were sold out. The muffins are in a plastic wrap. I thought they were premade. When I asked if the lady had anymore in the back she stated she had to bake them. There was a line almost out the door so I bought what she had left. The chocolate bar was delicious too. The coffee with oat milk and sugar was very good. The Times Square location did not have the vegan muffins at all and I walked to the next location.
