Yes, this is ice cream the way I love it. Natural ingredients, zero or low sugar, made fresh from scratch with up to three ingredients you may choose from 30 ! different fruits with soy milk plus nut or almond. I combined cherry, coconut and almond and it was a masterstroke! As plant based toppings you have almonds, cornflakes and amaranth. They also offer smoothies, teas, frappés and Italian sodas.

You choose 3 flavours and they combine it all together. Mine turned out great, had lavender, passion fruit and strawberry! You have to ask for the soy based ice cream

Lots of vegan options - Edit
I visited Pandiu on a hot day ready for ice cream. The way the store operates is somewhat novel. I didn’t really understand how to order at first, so I’ll explain here. Assuming you want a rolled ice cream, you need to first consult the menu. The menu lists a variety of flavours, like “nut”, “chocolate”, “strawberry”, “dulce de lèche”, “Nutella”, “apple”, “cookies and cream”, etc. You can select up to four flavours for your ice cream. The server will then mix the flavours with a dairy or dairy-free base (soy milk for vegans). All the flavours you chose are mixed together into one purée.
Read moreThe purée is then poured into a cold surface. The server will manipulate the purée until it freezes. The frozen mixture is then scrapped off, forming rolls.
It took close to ten minutes for me to order and receive my ice cream - I think the server I had was in training since another server was much quicker. I chose pistachio and tamarind as my flavours, not realizing they’d be mixed together. Different flavours have different price points - I paid $55 MXN. The flavour combination turned out great. The waffle cone is not vegan, it has milk. Bowls are available for vegans. There are toppings for your ice cream, but be careful since many aren’t vegan.

The icecream itself was good but I didn't like the service (the staff wasn't really friendly or willing to help me understand which toppings were vegan). Also I found it expensive - I chose 2 flavors and payed 55pesos

Tons of vegan options! - Edit
I am really impressed with this place! Upon walking in, you won’t think there’s anything vegan. However I asked the girl working, what flavors are vegan? And she said any only the menu can be made with soy milk. It’s all rolled ice cream so they make it right there. Just don’t order the obviously non vegan flavors like cream cheese, and candy bar that’s not typically vegan, etc — those will contain dairy. If you have questions, just ask. My only mistake was forgetting to ask about the cone, I’m not sure if it’s vegan so I didn’t eat it, but you can get your order in a dish😄they also have plenty of toppings, some of which are vegan (I got Oreos mixed in, I think they had nuts, maraschino cherries, possibly other fruit). I’d definitely recommend!
