Serves meat, vegan options available. Quick-service pizzeria franchise founded 1986 with the opening of its first branch in British Columbia. Added vegan cheese and vegan pepperoni as well a few pre-designed vegan pizza varieties to its menu in 2018. Possible to customize your own pie as well. Appetizer option includes a chickn tender w/ mustard dipping sauce. Pizza crusts are vegan. Salads and bread sticks can be upon request. Open Mon-Thu 11:00am-11:00pm, Fri-Sat 11:00am-12:00am, Sun 11:00am-11:00pm.

Kudos Panago - Edit

I used a coupon for the Plant-based Beyond Summer BBQ, salad, and organic juice. As I vegan newbie, I was sad to leave pizza behind and delighted to see Panago offering several vegan options. The pizza was pretty good. The beyond meat sausage was excellent. The Daiya cheese less so, but that’s not Panago’s fault (hopefully it’ll get there one day). While not quite the pizza experience of my past, it did the trick. Regardless kudos to Panago for really trying. They even have a vegan FAQ on their site listing all the options vegans can choose (and they seem actually to know what vegan means). They changed their crust recipes to make them vegan-friendly too. Panago is paving the way for change and for that, they will get my money.

Pros: One of the few pizza chains with any vegan items, Fairly tasty, No additional cost for vegan items
