Vegans can order the nachos with all the fillings (omit cheese); chips, salsa, guacamole, the veggie tacos, the big vegetarian burrito (Mexican or cilantro lime rice - or both - black beans, grilled veggies covered with tomatillo sauce - ask to omit cheese). Sides that vegans can order are corn on the cob (ask for no butter), Mexican or cilantro rice, black beans, refried beans, fries, grilled veggies, broccoli. Live music.

My waiter was very accommodating and spoke with the chef to prepare me vegan enchiladas and roasted corn. He assured me there were no animal products and especially prepared rice and beans with no byproducts.

Vegetarian burrito isn't even vegetarian - Edit
Their veggie tacos are $12 for incredibly basic fillings. But the worst thing was how the flour tortilla in their vegetarian burrito *has lard* . I am glad I asked, unfortunate that others did not. That was enough for me, I walked out.

Picked up order in restaurant and was given wrong order - it was literally fish. So I call back (takes 3 times to get anyone) and say I got the wrong order. They tell me to take it back and I said okay but can you tell me if my order will be ready. The guy on the phone said I don’t know what your order is then hung up. I took order back and waited 30 minutes after being told my “order was being made” but no one ever updated me and avoided me. I asked to cancel my order and will likely have to dispute it with my credit card company to be refunded. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Reviews were all pretty good & it could’ve just been an off day, but the food wasn’t very good at all. We ordered the veggie tacos, which came on a corn tortilla with boiled pinto beans & charred (burnt) veggies .. cilantro lime rice wasn’t too bad they only had a red salsa which tasted like it had gone bad. We also ordered guacamole with was okay with chips - kids didn’t order vegan & they didn’t like their food either, except for a grilled cheese .. we decided not to go back this week

We’ve had the Veggie Tacos and found them to be excellent. Be sure to tell them you are Vegan so you won’t get any dairy products (cheese) with it.

Our experience was just like the written description for this place. The owner went out of his way to speak with us about what we wanted and describe what they could do, including cooking with no oil. The refried beans are made with lard. Options are indeed limited but you can get by if you're not staying on the island long. Food was as fresh as it gets and came out fast.
