Serves meat, vegan options available. Brunch place with a variety of vegetarian options that can be made vegan by omitting cheese and/or egg. Open Mon-Thu 7:30am-3:00pm, Fri-Sun 7:00am-3:00pm.
We had the southwest black bean and corn salsa with chips that was a nice starter. Then we each had a bonita flats salad, hold the cheese, dressing on the side. It was very fresh and well executed with green leaf lettuce, baby spinach, zucchini and carrot noodles, and tomato slices. We got some oatmilk lattes to go, and they were delicious. The ice cream sandwich shop next door has vegan cookie and ice cream options, but we were too full to try it out (next time).
I ordered a portobello mushroom burger with a gluten free bun. The burger was not well thought out, it didn't stay together well and was difficult to eat. I suspect that the bun was not gluten free. I asked before taking a bite if they had given me a gf bun (it didn't look like the gf buns I'm used to eating) and the server said they had. After leaving the restaurant I started having symptoms/allergic reaction.
Looks like they’ve had a vegan menu planned for some time. It was challenging to order here. Kids hot chocolate came out with whipped cream, sent back 😐. Basic salad, basic taco with fried potatoes and bean, didnt want to risk trying any refried beans. Even after being blantly clear about our dietary restrictions, my basic oatmeal came with whipped butter, at least it was on the side. This town needs better choices.
