Small cafe in the Harestane courtyard with outdoor seating and plenty of vegan options, coffee and snacks to purchase. Includes a vegan naan toastie and waffles. Located by lots of craft shops. Also does catering and has a food truck. Open Mon-Sun 10:00-17:00. Closed Mon-Tues.

Now our go-to place in the Borders

Lovely staff, nice surroundings and fabulous tasty food! It's really good to see people eat there who aren't necessarily either veggie or vegan and discover just how tasty plant based food can be. We've had great savoury dishes and desserts, fab coffee and everything can be made vegan! Just what is needed in the Borders!

Waffles

My husband and I recently visited and couldn't fault it. The place itself was spotless, well laid out with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was to die for and we were spoilt for choice. We both had the waffles which came well presented and in a timely manner. My husband had the strawberry cheesecake ones and I had the winter special ones. They were so huge that I had to bring some home with me. We are both vegan and despite this being a vegetarian establishment, they will make pretty much anything on the menu vegan for you.

Lovely place

This is such a lovely place in a great location. I had the savoury waffles which were great along with a nice smoothie. Will definitely be back to try more things from the menu

Perfectly vegan friendly

Had a lovely brunch here and they told me everything on the menu can be made vegan.
I also ordered a ginger beer float (comes with ice-cream) and was reassured that all their ice-cream is vegan as standard.
My boyfriend who isn’t vegan had the bbq jackfruit naan bread toastie and he really enjoyed it.

Will definitely come back

We had a roasted veg salad and a waffle. Both were filling and we felt good value. Salad really hard to eat with wooden cutlery in a cardboard bowl. Top tip: sit indoors if eating food that would need cutting! Wanted to come back later but the internet had gone down and we had no cash. Would like to try cakes and floater! All ice cream is vegan

Fantastic spot!

Wow. What a great spot! Delicious food, gorgeous setting and lovely staff! Just one minute off the A68 makes it the perfect stop off on a journey north or south! Our new stop for sure! We had the savory waffles, red pepper naanwich, a couple of smoothies and the raspberry pistachio ice cream sandwich. SO good! Very reasonably priced and dog friendly too 💚

Pros: Everything can be made vegan, SO MANY DESSERT OPTIONS , Gorgeous cafe and surroundings

A gem of a place

Found an absolute gem on a place whilst in the Scottish Borders! It’s a fully veggie cafe outside Jedburgh that offers vegan and gluten free options for all items on their menu! 🌱

I got the classic waffles with strawberries and chocolate sauce. Such a big portion for only £5.50! I also got a mixed berry smoothie (£3.50) 🧇

If you’re ever in the borders you need to visit this place, it was so lovely and in a beautiful wee courtyard 💖

Great selection, lovely service

Husband and I each had a vegan naanwich. Very tasty and loads of vegan options/swaps for the non-vegan menu items. Young girls serving us were friendly and efficient.

Super!

Lots of vegan options including vegan cheese pitta breads, vegan naans, Mac and cheese and BBQ jackfruit …not to mention the waffles! 😋 We’ve been here a few times and love it every time⭐️ Everytime we go there are more and more vegan options! Super affordable and friendly staff 🤩

A favourite stop for us locally. There are loads of great vegan lunch and snacks

Best in the borders!!

This place is absolutely fantastic!!! So many vegan options as well as an eco philosophy on all they sell!

An absolute must if you’re in the area.

Surprisingly delightful

Absolutely loved it. Food was superb, chat was friendly and knowledgeable. We sat out on the terrace on a beautifully sunny day and loved the pittas and naan. Would have liked to sample the waffles but simply too full. Fantastic wee place and can’t wait to see what they do in future!
