Great food - Edit
We arrived at a busy time so things felt a bit chaotic. But staff were very friendly and our food came quickly. I had the mushroom and nut crumble which was absolutely excellent. Extremely rare that a non vegan establishment makes such tasty AND high protein dishes. All sorts of nuts and mushrooms in there. Served with a tasty and generous side salad, also stuffed with protein.

Busy, friendly café with lots of vegan options - Edit
So pleased to find this place, which has plenty of well thought out, interesting vegan options with food that is well presented and tasty. Breakfast options, soups, sandwiches, salads, cakes, baked potatoes as well as more substantial lunch options as per the menu in the photos.

Such a great find! - Edit
Stayed in Kelso for a couple of days and was so relieved to find this little gem of a cafe across the street. So many vegan cake options including cheesecake, chocolate tart, date caramel slice, rocky road......Also amazing breakfast options including a breakfast bowl with vegan yoghurt, granola and fresh fruit, banana pancakes and porridge. The highlight though is a fully vegan lunch menu with delights like spinach and falafel burger, curry, West African Stew and many more alongside other lighter options on the standard lunch menu like baked potatoes, salads and soup. Their salads are incredible and among the best vegan salads I have ever had. We had breakfast and lunch there every day we were here. The staff were friendly and the owner Kirsten was absolutely lovely and so welcoming. Highly recommended!

Fluffiest vegan pancakes - Edit
Just had the best, probably the best pancakes I've ever had. Fluffy, thick, crisp outer, superbly cooked and a generous amount of maple syrup to pour over everything.

I had a toastie with vegan cheese and chutney, which came with a really delicious salad full of leaves, fruit, pulses and couscous. So yummy! My husband had an equally delicious felafel and spinach burger. The server was really friendly and chatty!

Lovely cafe - Edit
Lovely cafe with extremely helpful staff. I had a hummus and sun dried tomato panini with a great salad! Not sure if there was any vegan desserts available as I didn’t have a look for those. Would definitely go again.

Cosy & Delicious - Edit
We stopped for lunch on a weekday and enjoyed vegan chickpea and spinach soup, which was wonderfully flavourful, and a vegan cinnamon bun, which was also delightful. The host was very helpful, knowledgeable about the menu, and friendly. Will definitely return whenever possible.

Best in Kelso! ⭐️ - Edit
All round great cafe. We go in fairly regularly. There was a time when they had vegan sausage rolls and vegan cinnamon buns most days, which was ace! There’s always yummy vegan cakes to choose from. The banana pancakes are also very delicious, and the sandwich with hummus and sundried toms is also very tasty. Highly recommend if you’re in Kelso 😋

Nice stop for quick lunch - Edit
Items were marked Vegan on menu. Would recommend banana pancakes, very filling. Good selection of 4 different plant milks for teas/coffees. Vegan cakes and sausage rolls to takeaway but we didn't try these. Staff made my partner a Vegan cheese and red onion toastie with a side salad including fruits and couscous. Staff very attentive.

Great even as a take out - Edit
Under current circumstance they only operate as a take out and a wee shop but that does not compromise the quality. We had their vegan sausage rolls, some home made sourdough bread (reasonably priced!) and an amazing cake that I still cannot get out of my mind. Super lovely and involved team there and they're passionate about what they do. Been there before it was shut down too and had some lovely soup and purchased a few vegan items form their shop.
