Everything vegan

This little cafe has wonderful food, and all of it is vegan or vegetarian. We’ve tried the frittata (yummy) and for lunch today we had wraps. The wraps were packed with goodness. In store there are Ceres organic packets of snacks and mixes and many other treats. In the cabinet there are raw slices and tortes. The staff are gorgeous. Highly recommended.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Cons: Closes in the afternoon so you can’t have dinner

So good

We had the vegan omelette and scrambled tofu, a juice and a smoothie. Amazingly good, tasty food. Lots of vegan options both in the menu and in the cabinet. Top marks.

Would give 5* if I could

Would give 5* if happy cow would alow me but because we are vegan and this is a vegetarian restaurant aswell it doesn't alow us. Most amazing vegan tofu burger ive had amazing flavours. My girlfriend had nachos and these were the best she has ever had. Lots of gluten free options. Both ladies that work here were extremely helpful and also coffee was lovely. Would highly recommend.

Delicious breakfast and lunch options

I had the vegan omelette and it was absolutely delicious. Plenty of vegan options and will definitely be back. Friendly and knowledgeable staff too 😊

Vegan Options

Really nice cafe, options for vegan & non vegan.. Coffee was nice and have an option of almond, soy, coconut or cows milk. There are vegan brownies, wraps, Açaí bows, fritters, seed bars and more:)

Pros: Lots of vegan options., Great coffee , Not too expensive

Cons: Not the biggest menu

Excellent fresh veg food!

This is a small, lovely vegetarian restaurant. About half of the menu is vegan. Breakfast, lunch, smoothies, juices, coffees, wraps and pastries. Friendly service.

Perfection!!

Absolute best service and best coffee for miles, and one of the few truley vegan friendly place in the area. Been multiple times and they never disappoint

Friendly, Accommodating, and Delicious

We ate lunch at the Orange Frog and liked it so much we ate there again the next day as well as getting take-away for supper. Despite my sensitivity to alliums (onions, garlic), they were very helpful in guiding me to non-allium, vegan options and even created new twists on menu items to make them without alliums. They have a nice selection of breakfast and lunch items which were all beautifully presented, adding a feast for the eyes as well. The cabinet food is equally tasty with a variety of dishes ranging from salads to wraps to stuffed sweet potatoes.

Pros: Very friendly, helpful, staff and delicious food .

Cons: Kitchen only open until 2:00 pm, restaurant closes

Best Cafe in Paihia

The only place in Paihia that offers an option other than a burger for Vegos!!! GREAT coffee and a range of cakes. plus all the staff are super nice!

Pros: VEGAN OPTIONS! :), Good Coffee, Friendly Staff

Delicious

I just recently visited over the Christmas period. I was sad to see it closed the first two days of our stay but it was due to public holidays surrounding Christmas Day. Being vegan, I get incredibly excited when I know
Vegan and vegan friendly restaurants are in town. This was literally 5 minutes walk from our apartment and I visited frequently. I tried to eat everything on the menu. Vegan options are clearly labelled and if you're unsure, you can ask the staff. The stuffed sweet potato was so delicious!! The best I've had. I also had the walnut lentil burger which was so so good. There's plenty of vegan options to suit whatever mood you're in be it cake, coffee, juice, smoothies, salads, burgers, whatever you feel like. The staff were super friendly and the prices were what you'd expect for vegan food. I'm so happy this place exists!

Yummo!

A vegetarian and vegan friendly delight! In an area soaked in touristic dining experiences, this cafe/lunch bar type place is full of delicious food and smoothies/juices/coffee. We've been back 3 times in a week! Cabinet food including raw cakes and slices plus yummy Lentil and Potato pie, Spinach and Feta roll, polenta slice, wraps, filled potato, fresh salads etc. Just had an AMAZING hemp bean Pattie burger and hubby had the beetroot and brown rice version. Plus they had a walnut and lentil version too which we might have to go back for too! all homemade and fresh tasting. Wish it was closer to home. Hope it stays here for years to come as we come up every year. Go, reward your tastebuds. Morning/lunch place not dinner sadly.
