Fantastic! Definitely worth a visit - Edit

Read moreWe both got the vegan breakfast (great tofu scramble- clearly made by a vegan actually had flavour- I usually don’t like tofu scramble as it can be a last ditch effort at vegan food for onmi cafes) and it did NOT disappoint. Good coffee too. Vegan baked goods and ice cream flavours out the back. Really worth trying.
They didn’t seem to have as many options as the other reviews on happy cow would suggest but worth a try!

We were recommended to come here as vegans from our Air bnb! Pretty spot and a great menu with ample choice compared to many places! Lots of dishes can be made vegan as well. For brekkie, big vegan brekkie is the big main, and the granola was quite tasty. We both opted for granola as we are not scrambled tofu fans. For their dinner menu, they have portobello skewers listed and even a vegan brownie desert!! We went back one night just to buy the brownie and thought it was worth it, but I did like the sound of portobello skewers and would be keen to try on another visit. Would recommend!

Lovely restaurant and farm shop, probably the best tofu scramble in New Zealand! Fantastic beer options too - I recommend the Wellington sour! I just wish it was open a little longer!

I was pleasantly surprised to find this cafe after scuba diving in the lakes and needed a nice hearty meal to fill me up. I was delighted to see how many vegan options that there were on the menu, as well as some sweet treats in the cabinet that were also vegan. I ended up having the tofu banh mi and it was super yummy and filling. I hope they continue to add even more vegan options.

Great coffee and excellent food. Quite a few vegan options which are all exciting. Tried the Vegan Big Boy breakie which was delicious and partner had the Banh mi which was also great.

Have driven past this place many times without realising that they have vegan options. Wife and I both had Nachos and kombucha on tap. We sat in the beer garden which has a lovey vibe to it at dusk. Vegan options on menu and cabinet was clearly marked. We got some dessert to take away since we were so stuffed at the time.update: their desserts are SO GOOD

We went on a Sunday arvo and they had live music out in the beer garden, had a good time. The food was great, had the jackfruit burger and my friend had the vegan nachos. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Would defo recommend. Left with takeaway desserts!

We have eaten at Okere Falls Store twice in this trip. Our first time I got the pulled jackfruit burger and my husband got the vegan breakfast. He loved his but the flavours in the burger were just too full on for me. Very vietnamese, the coriander was so overpowering. Hubby finished it for me and loved it so I'll put that one down to personal taste.
Read moreSecond time we just wanted something light as more of a takeaway. I got the salad wrap and hubby got the vegan burrito. The wrap was good. Packed tight with greens and some roasted veg plus cashew nuts which was different and delicious. Burrito was nice.
This place is always packed. Nice, casual eating spaces.

Really nice summer spot, we got the beet burgers which were a Thursday burger night special. They also stock little island ice cream so we got some to go 😁 definitely recommend, decent size and great quality for the price, omni family also loved it.

It was so lovely to sit outside on a sunny day although on this particular occasion the experience was marred by a roudy group of lunchtime beer drinkers. Our large vegan nachos to share was yum and large. Good to have the avocado. I'm not so keen on coconut cream, prefer cashew cream, but still a good meal. A popular place

Every time I have been to Okere Falls store I've been delighted with my feed! They have awesome vegan options such as vegan burgers, raw slices, smoothies and bliss balls! Beautiful outdoor seating too. However it can be pretty expensive.
