My boyfriend made us go here because he thought we would see the blue ninja turtle. He was a bit upset but the night was saved by a fungi pizza

Good options

There were plenty of options for vegans but could have been a bit more adventurous with some flavours. Service was ok but obviously a busy time.

OK dinner choice

The gnocchi with fresh basil in a fennel sugo was good, and they replaced the mozzarella with a vegan option (hard cheese, not shreds). It came with garlic bread, so there’s no need to order the garlic bread appetizer. The only other vegan appetizer came with olives which I don’t like so I was left with no starter.

Pros: A couple of vegan options , Nice location, Outside seating

Cons: Could use more options, Wine list not broad (five pinot noir options?)

Nice pizza

The menu has some marked options that can be made vegan. (2 pizza's, 1 pasta en some starters..) They have vegan mozzarella, but you have to pay extra for it. This didn't make sence to me because you don't eat the other cheese that is normally on the pizza. I had a nice fungi pizza, but it was a bit "pricy" (25NZD). I asked if I could get some exra spinach on my pizza. That was ok and he wouldn't charge me for that, only for the vegan cheese. So that was nice, but in the end I could't find any spinach on my pizza.

I had more friendly staff in other places, but was ok.

Pros: Some vegan optoins, pizza was good

Cons: Expensive, Not very friendly

Margarita with no cheese :(

Does not have a vegan menu after asking the owner. Staff were very unsure of what could be made vegan. Only pizza available is a margarita with no cheese

Eat Streat

This was the only place I found in Eat Streat with vegan options on the menu. Quite a small selection but they had a separate vegan menu and were willing to accomodate. I got a vegan pasta dish which was good. But it was quite a small serving and the prices are expensive.
