Lack of flavor & expensive - Edit
Just ok. But not worth the price.
Read moreWe came for dinner. As a starter we got the edamame, which were pan fried, oily (not normal). After asking for steamed only he went to the kitchen, came back and said: “that’s how the chef does it here. You can go to the kitchen if you want”
Very weird way to respond to a customer request.
Then we had the gyozas, no flavor.
As a main I had the Oyakodon (vegan). Very basic dish with lack of flavor and ingredients. And tiny portion…
We were able to eat it, but I wouldn’t come back.

Super vegan friendly - Edit
We all enjoyed our dinner here. Almost all their dishes can be made vegan. The staff were really nice and the service was quick. Would totally recommend and come back.

Fantastic Ramen - Edit
I'd give it 5 stars if it was possible. Plenty of vegan options, everything is properly labeled in the menu. The Ramen was specially good.

My favourite vegan-friendly restaurant in Valencia! - Edit
5 stars for me (if the website allowed me to).
Read moreIt's 100% gluten-free and dairy-free, but it's not completely vegan - although it feels that way: everything on the menu can be made vegan (or at least vegetarian). It's very difficult to find a Japanese restaurant with all these options for vegans (not to mention gluten intolerance) and everything is absolutely delicious. I love this place!
Okashi seems to be more famous in Madrid but they opened a new restaurant in Valencia, hopefully they'll keep expanding. Definitely worth a visit! We went there twice already and it's among my favourites restaurants in the city, fully vegan or not.
I would recommend their katsudon (see pictures), just ask for the vegan or vegetarian option and you won't be disappointed. Their desserts are amazing too, especially their cheesecakes.
Pros: 100% gluten-free, No dairy, Everything can be made vegan or vegetarian
Cons: Not fully vegan even if they could, Closed Monday to Wednesday (check opening times)
