Offerings include jerk jackfruit sandwich, candied yams, fried chickn sandwich, vegan poboy sandwich, 'tuna' melt, macaroni and cheese, broccoli and cheese, and soul rice among others. Award winning vegan soul food in Boise - Edit
Ok so this place is the best vegan food my family has had. Never had vegan soul food before this place. It was amazing. My favorite is the vegan chicken, the macaroni and cheese and the candied yams. The macaroni was so rich. And so were the yams, they were amazingly perfect. I had a few orders of peach cobbler too and killed it before reaching home. The vegan mac tho....is like sorcery. Sooo good! Better than any I’ve had. And the signature burger had me in awe. They got the wrong order once and was not mad at all. It was understandable because they had a lot of customers waiting that day and the owner was working solo. They gave me a vegan tuna melt that had some amazing fried pickles that came with it. And they gave me a new order although I didn’t want it cause I ate the tuna melt was so damn good. Never had soul rice either but am hooked on that too. I gave some of my food to a friend who isn’t vegan and they were amazed and wanted more. My kid who is very picky are all the food I gave him. I couldn’t believe that. You can tell they put love into the food. I was happy to hear they won an award because they deserve it. Everything looked just like the photos. They only issue I had was the order system takes some getting use to. They are next to Dharma and the Fry Co. so it’s confusing where to go the first time but they have benches in front where you wait and they bring our your food. Order the day before and pick up the next day. There was a wait but I think they’ve organized the system better because there was not wait and my food came out timely on my next order. This place is a must try
