Gave me fish when I ordered vegan

Ordered from this restaurant and when I opened the package it was full of fish. I tried calling and got no answer so I drove to the store front. Was given a horrible attitude and was told ‘no vegan food today’. Then why did you accept the order? Refused to give my money back for the food. I’m out $35 and will never order here again.

Cons: They’ll steal your money

Vegan fish n chips is amazing

LOVE the vegan fish n chips made from battered eggplant w/ tartar sauce. (The onion rings and cauliflower wings are good too). I think anything on the menu can be made gluten-free.

*I believe they cook the vegan and non-vegan items in the same fryer (sometimes my eggplant tastes a bit fishy), so be mindful of this.

(They don't have vegan desserts but I've seen them ask vegan customers what they'd like to see on the menu).

Pros: Vegan items not typically seen , Gluten free options, Good sized portions

Cons: Small; long wait times during busy hours, Lacking in vegan desserts

Love the eggplant and chips!

We’ve been here a few times, and have really enjoyed the vibe, friendly staff and delicious food. Haven’t been in a couple months, but when I was last there, the fried eggplant was both vegan and gluten free which was amazing for me! My husband got the tacos which he also really enjoyed. Hoping to go back soon, and would definitely recommend!

Pros: gluten free + vegan option , delicious , cool vibe

Comfort Vegan

Battered and fried eggplant with all the fixins like tartar sauce, aiolo, slaw and gravy. The BEST Buffalo Cauliflower! Great chips too! Helpful, friendly and vegan aware staff. Great for take-out, delivery or dining in. A hidden vegan friendly jem on the Danforth.

Pros: Super friendly staff, Vegan comfort food, Quick take out service

Surprising vegan menu

A surprisingky great vegan menu here, with very friendly staff. The small restaurant is decorated with record sleeves. Excellent cauliflower-based buffalo wings. Great for take out too.
