Careless about allergens - Edit
Was totally ready to love this place. My wife loves a London fog.
Read moreThere were limited vegan options when we visited, they were soup and a bagel, a vegan breakfast or an avocado bagel. No vegan cakes or brownies when we visited.
Vegan due to allergies, order was made incorrectly twice. Manager came over and explained it was a new member of staff and that my tearful wife was being rude and asked us to leave. This was a surprise as she hadn't been rude, but just been clear that the food was incorrect, this is because milk causes severe gastric distress to our son who is still breastfeeding. She had not been rude but was just upset. This was not dealt with well. I'm not even sure we received an apology.
We left and the manager refunded us the food we had not received and our drinks.
The food we did have was decent for Middlesbrough. I was looking forward to popping in for lunch in the week but won't be doing so after how this was dealt with.

Love all the options. Sell several vegan bagels, have alternative milk and normally have a vegan brownie to buy. My favourite place to visit for a lunch out in boro.

Cool coffee shop with a nice vibe and friendly staff. We stopped off and shared a biscoff brownie and oreo brownie with our respective vegan hot chocolate and Americano. The freshly made brownies were still warm and gooey and absolutely divine! Kudos also to a deliciously indulgent hot chocolate and Americano.

Fantastic spot for a great coffee or a beer. - Edit
Absolutely love this place, whether for a post run coffee or a bite to eat I'm never disappointed. Usually pick up a couple of take out beers too.
