Cosy place - Edit
This coffee/bar is very cute. I passed it and I really liked it and in the evening I was looking for a late coffee and they served it without problems. The brownie with biscoff is the best I ever had.

Wish we'd stayed longer! - Edit
Visited after doing a lap of the city walls, in dire need of a coffee. The coffee didn't disappoint and was accompanied by a banging Kinder Bueno blondie.

Lovely atmosphere and good cake - Edit
Another great independent place in York! Popped in here for a coffee one Tuesday afternoon and it was busy (so booking recommended if you're planning to go at a popular time). They have a range of alcoholic drinks, such as Stiegl Radler on draft and several Brass Castle beers. We opted for some San Pellegrinos and a slice of cake each - the vegan option was chocolate and Biscoff brownie and it was delicious! Service was quick and friendly. This place is deservedly popular.
