Great Mexican food and margaritas, terrible service

They describe themselves as ‘upscale’ Mexican and while I wouldn’t quite call it fine dining, it certainly has really good, sophisticated Mexican food. It’s not the kind of cheap Mexican place with nachos and cheap gucamole but has proper nice, delicious food with good quality ingredients.
There are plenty of vegan options on the menu from tacos to different starters and mains. All the food that I’ve tried was really tasty and very well prepared, I cannot fault them. They have jackfruit vegan tacos, vegan starters and mains: They also have a happy hour (the time and options keep changing, so make sure to check) outdoor seating and great margaritas. The wine list is fantastic too.
I just wish the service was better, they have so much potential! I’ve been there a few times (I really want to make this a regular place) and while they are really nice, they are so slow and will mix up your bill. You really need to double check that you’re being charged the right items - I don’t usually check the bill but I noticed because it was seriously three times what I had anticipated so I took a closer look and it was all over the place. What should have been a $70 bill was handed to me as $200. It was rectified and we we ended up paying the right amount but everything on the bill was incorrect, pretty bad. The service is also super slow. They are lovely and mean well but you need to come with a lot of patience.
With all that said, the food is great, plenty of vegan options, fantastic margaritas and if you come prepared to wait a bit longer and double check the bill in the end, you will have a great time!

Cons: Make sure you check the bill is correct , Make sure it is actually happy hour as it changes , Friendly but very slow service
