Be careful - Edit
I asked for the vegan pasta pesto with vegan cheese. The first time I had the penne. A few days later they said the penne is not vegan and they also gave me non vegan cheese

Only one option for breakfast - Edit
I was left feeling disappointed here as they only had one vegan option for breakfast (porridge) and the menu felt badly labelled.
Read moreThe porridge was nice but not really special.
It only had one clearly marked vegan option and a couple of vegetarian options. But in reality, I would have thought most of the menu was in fact vegetarian - just not labelled.
Staff did seem to understand veganism
Cons: Only one vegan breakfast option

Delicious - Edit
This has obviously changed since the last reviews. They have clearly marked vegan and vegetarian options and understand what vegan means - I asked for the nasi Goreng vegan and they left out the egg and the prawn crackers which my friend had. The smoothies are amazing and the nasi Goreng (and especially the tofu skewer) was so delicious. They have a vegan dessert (lemon tart) I would love to try too. Breakfast options also sound amazing.

Food too oily - Edit
I ordered the fried polenta and it was just too oily. I ordered the veggie poke bowl and it was pretty much a rice poke bowl (there was tons of rice and a little of veggies), and it was also too oily. Staff is very friendly though.

Not vegan - Edit
Like others have reviewed, the vegan options are not vegan. My partner nearly ordered the fish burger which was clearly labeled vegan. After ready reviews we asked if it was vegan and waiter said no. Cheese vegan? No.
Read moreNice place but not for vegans and don’t trust their menu or their understanding of what vegan is.
Pros: Nice place
Cons: Clearly don’t understand what vegan is , False advertising

Not good for vegans - Edit
It is a vegetarian/pescetarian restaurant with no meat dishes. There are vegan options on the menu, but they are only vegan if you order it without cheese and sauce. But a burger without cheese and sauce is okay but unfortunately not good.

DO NOT GO HERE - Edit
Everything advertised on their menu is not vegan, the veggie burger which apparently you can have made vegan as per the menu isn’t vegan the burger bun is made with eggs, the falafel wrap also isn’t vegan the wrap isn’t vegan friendly, honestly there is so many great other options such as Alchemy, Krishna’s Kitchen or Habitat Village that have such great service and vegan options
Read morePros: Nothing
Cons: Service was terrible , No vegan friendly food, Staff don’t understand how to take orders

VEGANS STAY AWAY - Edit
don’t go here everyone - everything labelled vegan is NOT VEGAN after trying to order. Staff have absolutely no idea and have literally printed vegan on their menus but then in person confirmed it’s not.

Tasty enough falafel bowl - Edit
The food wasn't amazing here but the falafel bowl was good enough if you're hungry and in the area, though I'd recommend Drifter's or The Loft more.

Nice posh place, not that vegan - Edit
The place just opened 3 months ago. The atmosphere is really nice, decor etc., spot on. As for vegan options, there are not so many and portions not that big. The veggie burger (veganized, originally it had cheese and mayonaise) was kind of dry. The turkish salad was tasty, but it might have been bigger. The hummus was indeed really good! In this area there are not that many vegan places/options. In this context, this place is a good choice.

Had the muesli bar, which is not a common thing to come around here in Bali, lots of options and yummy food as well as good coffee. The staff is lovely and the place is beautiful, can definitely recommend this as a Brekke/ lunch spot!
