Ok

I was excited to eat here because when I ate their nachos at a Chicago test kitchen they were DELICIOUS which is why it was surprising how bad the food was. I think the only things I enjoyed were the amazeballs and again the nachos, everything else was lackluster. The ambiance was nice, and the drinks were good, but nothing worth paying another visit too.

Fried and Salty but delicious

It's difficult to ignore the amount of fried foods on the menu, and the dishes are heavily salted. But it's delicious. I like the crab cakes and buffalo cauliflower.

Pros: Marks soy free, gluten free and nut free dishes

Cons: Very salty, Very fried

From freezing Chicago to tropical beach

The decor is perfect beachy and wonderful. The Portland location is my favorite restaurant, so excited they now have it in Chicago. Great music and they play awesome movies etc on their screen. Hope they decide to add the sushi roll to menu 😁

Pros: All vegan, Great cocktails, Best atmosphere

Just OK

We were so excited to check this place out. The atmosphere was whimsical & cute, the staff were great & helpful. We started with a Mai tai- not good. It was bitter. The chowder was pretty good. The Amazballs were ok & the Avocado tacos looked tasty but it's texture left much to be desired. I don't think we'll go back

Loved it!

A super fun place with tasty food. What more can you ask? This is a place where I'd like to hang out and linger with friends. Great beach drinks and a nice variety of really good food options. You won't leave here hungry, the portions are huge.

Pros: Big portions, Great atmosphere, Great staff

Cons: A little chilly on a winter day

Fresh new vegan eats

I came here for brunch with a group of friends and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The coconut mojito was amazing, so were the northwest nachos and cauliflower wings.
Also the women’s bathroom decor is just amazing- it’s jaws themed and the movie is playing in there as well.

Pros: Big portions, Fair prices , Unique flavors

Cons: Not much seating

My new favorite place in Chicago

Same style as the one in Portland, it’s so great to have West coast influence in the Midwest!

Pros: Amazing vegan food, Large portion, Great beach/ ocean atmosphere

Great Experience

Went to the soft opening and everything was great. We had the Amazeballs Cauliflower Wings and Soy Curl Lettuce Wraps and all were good! Was eyeing others with Nachos and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich that looked amazing as well! Going to be back!

Pros: All Vegan and all items were very good

Cons: Little Pricey
