Ordered tofu, gave me chicken

I ordered tofu and they gave me chicken instead. Order was messed up in other ways as well, all our drinks were forgotten (takeout).

Cons: Not vegan or vegetarian friendly

Delicious and very vegan friendly!

They were able to make any of the dishes like Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, curries, etc with tofu and without fish sauce, and it was delicious!

Excellent dinner

Beautiful atmosphere. Very relaxing. Friendly service. All the food was extremely fresh and beautifully displayed. Two dinners, an appetizer, and three glasses of wine was only $80.

Pros: Fresh, beautiful food, Friendly service, Lovely atmosphere

So good I had to go 3 times

If you’re visiting the Corning Museum of Glass, Nine Elephants is a perfect spot for lunch or dinner. The green curry, yellow curry, and massaman curry were all amazing. You’re not stuck with white rice; you can also get brown rice or purple rice. Staff know which items can be made vegan (no oyster sauce, no fish sauce, no egg), and which can be gluten-free. There are lots of options for both.

Instead of keeping live fish in fish tanks like so many Asian restaurants do, they showed a looped video of beautiful tropical fish on big screen TVs. Such a pretty and compassionate option.

I *always* order hot at Thai restaurants, but here they said “medium is hot” and they weren’t kidding. I got medium each time and my food was flaming hot spicy and delicious. If you get medium at other places, I highly recommend ordering mild here. The only downside is they serve a lot of seafood, and the place does smell somewhat like fish. There are limited vegan options in Corning, and this was one of the best places I tried.

Pros: Vegan options, Gluten-free options, Knowledgeable staff

Cons: They also serve a lot of seafood, Not organic as far as I know
