Mixed Feelings - Edit
We had the noodles and the pakora as a starter. Communication was a bit difficult as the waiter didn’t speak English very well. Asking whether certain dishes were vegan or could be made vegan was also challenging. In the end, the owner came over, who spoke much better English and was able to explain more about the dishes. The noodles tasted good, and the price was reasonable. If the owner had been there the whole time, I probably would have given 4 stars.

Small friendly restaurant on the back streets - Edit
I were happy to find this small restaurant going off the Happy cow reviews. The owner who serverd our table was friendly, and helped by pointing out the Vegan options there was around 5 or 6 in total including starters. I went for the mixed plate which was interesting with alternitive tastes, There was a green wilted leaf called Rayo Sagg, it was like spinnach but a stronger taste, and a little firmer the owner grows this himself, also on the plate was some mildly spiced vegatables, two different pickles, a Dalh and rice and poppodom. The portions are average, I would suggest adding a starter if you are very hungry.
Read morePros: Freindly , alternitive tastes, reasonably priced
Cons: would have like a bit more Dahl for my rice.

Nepali vegan options in Faro - Edit
Tasty authentic food, though on the greasy side. Helpful friendly waiter. No clear vegan options identified on the menu. Seems a place where locals eat. Decor was basic. When we were leaving we saw loads of ants under the table where we were sitting 😱

Solid Nepali food with clear vegan options - Edit
We stopped here for our first lunch in Faro. The food was good, prices were reasonable and vegan options were clearly marked. I highly recommend the veg dumplings in soup broth! We also got the veg noodles, which were tasty. Nice owners and a good stop if you aren’t able to dine at one of the veg restaurants in town

Excellent English spoken so we could order what we liked easily. He understood what vegan means so didn't he to explain in big detail. We enjoyed what we had and would visit again.

Incredible Vegan Nepali Food! - Edit
Just wow! we ordered vegetable pakora, the veg chow mein, mushroom curry, and veg dumplings in soup and they were all fantastic. The padoka was crispy, fried perfectly but not oily, and paired with a great tomato sauce. Great price too. The chow mein was solid and it had a slight curry flavor that made it delicious. The mushroom curry was our least favorite out of all four but it was still good. The portions for the curry were smaller than we hoped for the price that we paid. The portions for the dumplings however were incredible. I didn’t count but there were maybe ten dumplings? These dumplings weren’t soggy even though they were sitting in soup. The skin was nice and bouncy, the inside filling were flavorful. What we loved most is how stuffed each dumpling was. We are definitely coming back and ordering the pakora and dumplings and other things on the menu.
