This was the highlight of my day. The owners were so friendly! They took their time to explain the concept and we had a nice conversation.
Read moreCheap, freshly prepaired food served as a buffet. Many locals came to have their lunch and it was just a really nice experience. The food was good but could have been more rich in taste in my opinion. Would go there again if i was here for longer!

Buffet style food, but without the grease and ick feeling. Even the kids ate it! We left with full bellies and happy smiles.

We had dinner from 9pm. Sadly they close at 10pm so the buffet was already quite empty and the food was obviously not so fresh anymore. The waitress was super nice and if you come early it might be better!

A good variety of dishes on the buffet: some bite-size appetizers, plus roast potatoes, seitan in filo pastry, salads, bean stew, etc. I took away a Medium box (EUR😄and liked all the dishes I tried. Lots of seating. Pleasant staff.

Super friendly staff and tasty buffet - Edit
I got food here during a super quick bus layover on my way to Lisbon. It was such a lovely experience! The staff were super kind and helped me do takeaway from the beautiful buffet. The food was so good! Such a nice treat during a long travel day.

The concept is nice but it feels a bit half-hearted. Many of the dishes were random and didn't have much taste to it. The best thing they had was a tofu stew and seitan, also the rice was decent.

Daterra offre une grande variété de mets 100% vegan sous forme d'un buffet! Les repas sont bons et les desserts sont délicieux (particulièrement le gâteau banane/crème fouettée). Les mets manquent toutefois de complexité; on peut y retrouver des pâtes, du curry, du Chili, etc.

Amazing choice of vegan dishes. Help yourself to as much or as little as you want. Such a treat to have such imaginative vegan dishes with quality ingredients. Just about found room for the banhoffe pie for dessert. Deserves every success.

Lovely fresh delicious food - Edit
We ate the buffe two times in a day, lunch and dinner(with a little difference) and breakfast the day after. Acai bowl & scrambled tofu. Wonderful service, beautiful environment and lots of positive energy. Very clean, good prices and welcoming.

Lovely Concept.. Disappointing Food - Edit
We were very excited to go to daTerra for some lovely vegan buffet but it wasn’t quite what we expected. The interior of the space was very lovely creating a warm atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the food was very bland, dry, and didn’t have flavour on majority of the food. Spaghetti had zero taste, cold rice, food just felt like it was left on the counter for days. We aren’t usually picky eaters but this time it was a bit disappointing.

Our first vegan buffet experience! - Edit
We are visiting from the UK and have never been to (or heard of) a fully vegan buffet before- let alone an all-you-can-eat one! Lots of options, great value. 2 lunches, 2 drinks and 2 desserts (banoffee pie and lime pie) all came to about 36€.

I know this spot from Porto and I loved it so much. So it hurts for me to write this review. Food was very dry when I was there. I brought a non vegan friend. And it’s double sad when you make someone eat vegan food. But I will definitely come back to eat in Porto.

The location is very central and the buffet concept sounds great. I've been to other daTerra locations in the north of Portugal and the food was always delicious, however unfortunately that's not the case for the one in Faro. First of all they randomly follow the menu presented on their website, it's supposed to be the same for all daTerra restaurants but for some reason it's not the case for this one. It has a wide selection of cold entreés and salads, but not everything feels fresh. Some options sound and taste like leftovers from the day before or from the previous meal. Also, they always "cook" tofu the same way. Notice I write "cook" because slicing tofu and placing it on a tray with a little bit of sauce isn't an acceptable way to present a tofu dish in 2022. I really hope they get it together and improve the quality of the food otherwise it will only stay open due to tourist bait and a lack of similar options in Faro.
