I went to vegan jap restaurants in Japan, Europe, Thailand. Never I saw so much passion for experimentation, fusion, creativity. Well done. A real surprise. Well done.

Great Japanese food - Edit
The whole place is run by a lovely family. The food is very tasty and most dishes are vegan. I'm usually not one for sweets, but the raw cake I had was very nice as well. Closes quite early, if you arrive late, some dishes might be unavailable.

Delicious food; small portions - Edit
I hosted a vegan meetup at Aeeen a couple weeks ago and collected feedback from those who attended. There were several positive remarks about the restaurant's atmosphere, and the staff was very friendly and helpful in answering questions and making suggestions. Unfortunately, one guest's order was lost in all the commotion of questions and orders, but everyone who did receive their food and drinks were very pleased. Everyone agreed that everything we tried was delicious. Some items were sold out by the time we got there, despite it being only 1 hour after opening, but that just goes to show how beloved the food is here. The only complaint made was that the portion sizes were pretty small relative to the cost. Many people noted that while they were satisfied in the moment, they would likely be hungry again in just an hour or two.

delicous!! - Edit
the owners of the restaurant are very sweet and super friendly people. you get a warm welcome and a family-vibe.
Read morethe menu is incredibl2, all the dishes sound so good and taste delicious! the owner even took her time to explain the philosophy behind the food.
the place is relatively small in a very quiet place, great ambience overall!
it's quite pricy and the potions are small, it's definitely a treat rather than a daily lunch option

Unique Place and Unique Food - Edit
This has to be on of the most interesting cafes that I have ever eaten at in Chiang Mai. The old wooden house is very characteristic and with the chosen music the whole place is generally very atmospheric.
Read moreI have never eaten this kind of food before and I found the dish I had very creative and the owner explained to me what each piece of it was. It was very tasty and I want to go back and try the other dishes such as the katsu curry.
There is also a little shop on-site with some interesting rare and interesting vegan products such as soya mayonnaise and Worcestershire sauce.
You won't see this place from the side of the road as the building is set back but you will see the very obvious and unique signage, as shown in my picture.
Note that the owners also sell their products and food at local events.
Try them. They're good.
Pros: ALMOST all vegan, Interesting and unique, Sustainability focus
Cons: Quite limited hours
